Thousands of *Lebanese displaced by the war between Israel and Hezbollah have begun the journey home* as a ceasefire took hold, with *many celebrating an end* to the deadly fighting. 🇱🇧 🇮🇱 *The truce brings to a halt a war that has killed thousands in Lebanon* and resulted in mass displacement on both sides of the border. The war *escalated after nearly a year of cross-border fire initiated by Hezbollah* in support of its Palestinian ally Hamas, whose attack on Israel in October last year sparked the devastating war in Gaza. Israel *shifted its focus from Gaza to Lebanon in September to secure its northern border* from attacks by Hezbollah, and dealt the movement a relentless string of staggering blows. *The Iran-backed group*, which has yet to formally comment on the ceasefire, *emerges from the war massively weakened* but not crushed, and still mourning the killing in an Israeli air raid of its longtime leader Hassan Nasrallah.

🔻On Monday, Hezbollah fighters significantly increased their use of FPV drones, known for their precision and effectiveness in combat. These explosive-laden drones provide live battlefield footage, enabling targeted strikes. Out of 21 Resistance operations that day, six involved FPV drones. Hezbollah's Military Media Unit reported that at 3:00 PM, three FPV drones hit Israeli targets in northern occupied Palestine and southern Lebanon. One struck Israeli military vehicles and artillery in Yarine, another targeted occupation forces in al-Aajal Hill near Kfar Yuval, and the third hit a troop housing unit in Capri, with all strikes achieving precision hits. Earlier on Monday, an FPV drone targeted Israeli forces near Deir Meimas, while two others struck military vehicles in southern Khiam and Ebel al-Saqi.
