  • Journalist: "What are your thoughts on the Diddy saga, and do you think such might be happening in the afrobeats industry??"

Falz: "This whole Diddy saga is just terrible, this is someone we looked up to as a legend and inspiration (...) yeah it's happening, tho I can't go ahead calling names. But everything will be exposed with time, just like that of Diddy was exposed. Every industry has weird stuff like that going on"

  • How many of these big Afrobeats stars have you seen get to the top without a hype man? You need two things in your life to get to the zenith. Someone to look up to, also known as a mentor. And someone who can make others look up to you, also called a hype man. Don't underestimate that friend who is always singing your praise. They may just be the reason you get a raise. They are often the reason your haters can't erase you

  • "It brôke my heart when I heard that P-Square aren't longer together again. I mean they're family and shouldn't let money separate them." Akon

"Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye shared the same womb and were brothers for a reason. It was the fact that P-Square were brothers and was together that made them who they were. P-Square worked so hard promoting afrobeats to the world and the moment afrobeats got the attention it deserved, they split and destroyÄ™d everything they ever worked for. It's so heartbreakîng to even think about it. I know there's a lot of pressure in the music business, and alot of prëssure in relationships but Peter and Paul are brothers. Peter and Paul can never be able to sell the number of records they sold when they was together or sell out the venues they sold out when they was together. Even if their pröblem is money, the fact remains that they can't make the same amount of money they made together. I really hope they get back together real soon cuz they're the pride of Africa."
