  • Title: The Shadow in the Mirror Season: 1

    *Episode 2: "Shattered"*

I struggled to free myself from the shadow's grip, but it held tight. As I looked up, I saw the shadow's face, twisted in a malevolent grin.

Suddenly, the lights flickered and died. I was plunged into darkness, the shadow's grip still wrapped around my ankle.

I heard footsteps, heavy and deliberate, coming from the shadows. The grip tightened, pulling me down into the darkness.

    And then, everything went black.

  • Title: The Shadow in theMirror
    Season: 1

    *Episode 1: "Reflections"*

I stared into the mirror, feeling a chill run down my spine. The glass rippled, like water disturbed by a stone. I rubbed my eyes, but when I looked again, a shadowy figure stood just behind me.

I spun around, but there was no one there. The shadow's eyes seemed to watch me from the mirror. I felt a presence growing stronger.

Suddenly, the mirror exploded. Shards of glass flew everywhere. As I fell, the shadow's dark tendrils wrapped around my ankle.

I screamed, but my voice was drowned out by my own heartbeat.

  • I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again…. Apple+ has cracked the code on amazing Sci-Fi. 🙌🏾

The Gorge is easily my favorite watch of 2025 so far.

Keep in mind, this isn’t just a straight-up Sci-Fi flick—it’s sort of a multi-genre experience. And honestly, that’s what I loved most about it. It starts off as a badass espionage'esq action thriller, slowly evolves into a Sci-Fi mystery, and by the end, it somehow morphs into a horror survival LOVE STORY! Lol… I’m not even kidding.

If you go in blind, it’s *even better* because the buildup is beautifully done. 👌🏾

Miles Teller seems to be making a serious comeback, and it’s wild seeing him take on these roles. Top Gun: Maverick was one thing, but now The Gorge? I love it…. And honestly? He fits action films really well.

Anya Taylor-Joy, man….. I just love her on screen. Not sure what it is, but something about the roles she picks always puts her in a position to be incredibly compelling. Watching her play [Drasa] and seeing her relationship with Levi [Teller] unfold was true entertainment. Because how TF y’all fell in love in the middle of all this chaos?!*

Lol….Anyway, the monster/creature designs were cool AF—and if you know me, you know I love monster flicks over any other type of horror.👌🏾

And listen, The Gorge did not disappoint. I enjoyed the entire film, for real, but that final act had me stressed the f*ck out for Levi & Drasa, OK?!!! Things got helly intense toward the end, but it all wrapped up beautifully. 🙌🏾

Yeah, it had some predictable moments, but it kept my interest from start to finish. The plot and execution were solid, the VFX were on point, the story was beautiful yet cheeky, and the cast absolutely NAILED IT! 👍🏾

All in all, this was a solid 9 out of 10 for me.

  • Hey!

Always remember It doesn't matter how great of a person you are if the person you are interested in has not made room for you to be in their life, it just won't happen.

You owe it to yourself to pour your effort and energy into someone who is actually ready for love. When you feel like you are forcing your way into someone's life, step back and reevaluate some things.

Love never works when it's forced and can never grant you all round peace, It only works when the vibe, the connection and the feelings are mutual .

Let go of relationships that do not serve you well after putting efforts to making it work.

Let go of dishonest people, people who don’t respect you, people who are overly critical and relationships that prevent you from growing.

    • Don't chase people.
    • Be yourself.
    • Do your own thing, and love people.
The right people, the ones who really belong in your life will come to you and stay this year.

I know that true love is hard to find this days, but I pray for those that are believing God for a miracle, someone will walk into your life and get it right were everyone else got it wrong.

This year, you'll have your best friend, your biggest supporter, and your teammate all wrapped up into one Person In Jesus' Most Dependable Name, Amen!!!

  • The success of a father is wrapped up in succession

As a father of five, I’m often reminded that I am not the tile or the artwork, but the foundation.

    Foundations though unseen, are vital.

As a father, they may not see your diligence or pain. But, despite the winds of life, so long as the foundation is strong, the house can be rebuilt bigger and stronger for generations to come.

Fathers, may our recommendation letter not be written on papyrus, but on human hearts, not in ink, but in their destinies fulfilled. May the people who receive the pieces of you be your recommendation letter for generations to come.

  • A gift is more than a wrapped box or a thoughtful gesture. It's a symbol of love, a token of appreciation, and a reflection of the heart. When we give, we share a part of ourselves, showing others they matter, they're seen, and they're loved. The true gift lies not in the price tag, but in the thought, the love, and the kindness behind it.

  • Christmas story

    ---

    ### **The Christmas Star**

Once upon a time, in a small village nestled at the foot of a mountain, there lived a young girl named Clara. Clara was known for her kindness and bright smile, but her family had fallen on hard times. Her father was a woodcutter, but with the winter chill making it difficult to work, they didn’t have much to celebrate for Christmas that year.

One cold evening, as Clara helped her mother prepare a simple meal, she overheard a conversation. "We don’t have enough for presents or a feast this year," her father said quietly, his voice filled with worry. Clara’s heart sank. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she knew her family was struggling.

Later that night, Clara decided to do something special. She didn’t have money to buy gifts, but she knew that the spirit of Christmas was about more than things—it was about love, kindness, and sharing what you could with others.

Clara went out into the snowy forest and searched for the perfect tree. It wasn’t as grand as the one in the village square, but it was beautiful in its own way. With her small hands, she decorated it with candles, a few ribbons, and sprigs of holly she had gathered. She then tied a simple note to the tree’s trunk: "To the one who needs a little light, may this tree bring warmth to your heart."

The next morning, as the sun began to rise, Clara’s family noticed something extraordinary. From their window, they saw a soft, glowing light in the distance. It wasn’t the typical Christmas morning sunrise—it was something magical, like a star had descended from the heavens. The light led them to Clara’s tree, where they found a group of villagers gathered around it. Each had brought something small—an apple, a scarf, a loaf of bread—gifts meant for those who needed them most.

The village had come together, united by Clara’s simple act of kindness. It turned out that her tree had not only been a beacon for her family but for everyone in the village who needed hope, warmth, and light.

That Christmas, Clara’s family shared a meal with their neighbors, and the village, once quiet and uncertain, was filled with laughter and love. The Christmas Star, Clara’s humble tree, reminded everyone that the greatest gifts aren’t the ones wrapped in paper, but the love we share with one another.
