  • The success of a father is wrapped up in succession

As a father of five, I’m often reminded that I am not the tile or the artwork, but the foundation.

    Foundations though unseen, are vital.

As a father, they may not see your diligence or pain. But, despite the winds of life, so long as the foundation is strong, the house can be rebuilt bigger and stronger for generations to come.

Fathers, may our recommendation letter not be written on papyrus, but on human hearts, not in ink, but in their destinies fulfilled. May the people who receive the pieces of you be your recommendation letter for generations to come.

  • Apologies mean nothing if the same mistakes keep happening.

Some people use “I’m sorry” and “please forgive me” as a form of emotional blackmail—thinking that simply apologizing is enough. “After all, I apologized.”

No! Someone who truly values a relationship and wants to build something healthy will make conscious and intentional efforts to do better.

They won’t stay comfortable in their wrongs and use apologies as a cover-up.

There’s a big difference between someone genuinely trying to improve and someone who keeps doing the same thing, knowing they can always say “I’m sorry.”

You can’t build a healthy home when you're constantly hurting someone and then playing the victim with endless apologies.

    “I’m sorry” can’t fix everything.
