• Imagine waking up one morning, scrolling through your phone, and suddenly seeing the wedding invitation of someone you thought you had a future with. Maybe it was your talking stage, someone you were considering, or someone who told you they weren’t ready for a relationship. Maybe it was a person you had already fallen in love with or even someone you believed you were in a relationship with. Worse still, it could be an ex you broke up with just a few months ago. The shock, the pain, the confusion it’s a lot to handle.

At that moment, anger and hurt may take over. Questions will flood your mind. Did they lie to me? Was I just a backup plan? How did I not see this coming? You may even begin to feel like they just used you to feed their intimate pleasure. The betrayal may feel unbearable, but the truth is, no matter how painful, this might be a blessing in disguise.

Fighting the person or letting bitterness take over will not change anything. Instead, take a deep breath and remind yourself that sometimes, disappointments are God’s way of clearing your path for something better. If they were meant for you, they wouldn’t be marrying someone else.

Come o, No vex but have you even take out time to ask yourself this question?, What if the person you are toasting as a guy or considering accepting his proposal as a lady is already planning their future with someone else? It’s painful to think about, but it also means you deserve someone who truly chooses you, not someone who keeps you as an option.

Healing takes time, but let this be your turning point. Wish them well, walk away with grace, and trust that your own love story is still being written, one that will be true, intentional, and lasting. Hope this blessed you? Shalom!

  • THIS IS SPECIFICALLY FOR YOU

    Find out what...

So I had some oranges for the night but, before I could enjoyed it, I needed to peel of the bark completely to get to the juicy part.

It was stressful and I was beginning to lose interest but the thought of the sweet juices kept me going.

I could easily had cut the oranges in to two to suck out the juice or peel them roughly and that would have affected the taste.

This is the case with most of us. We want something but do not want to work for it or we get tired too quickly while working for it.

From the moment I realized that nothing good comes easy, I had a mindset shift.

There is commensurate amount of efforts required from you to perfect what God has already done.

To harvest bountifully, you have to plant some seeds for God to send rain on, make the whether favorable to and cause the rapid and sustained multiplication of the seeds.

To be found as a woman, you have to be somewhere, doing whatsoever. As a man too, to find a wife, you will be going about for a thing and then boom, she appears.

To eat food, you must first cook by assembling the ingredients and putting them together one after the other.

There is a Price to pay for the glory. Imagine, for our Salvation, Jesus needed to come and die.

I am taking this time to cite all of these scenarios so you can understand this properly. To be gainfully employed, you need to prepare a CV, you need to apply to organisations and wait for call ups.

To be healed, you will need to pray to God or go to the hospital and follow through with taking you medications.

The grace of God that is available to us does not stop or invalidate work. Also, you cannot love God alone by saying it, you must demonstrate it by working.

Beloved, you can become anything you desire if you do your part well. There is always something you can do to get what you want.

You might not get it right at once, However, little and consistent efforts over time yield greatly. Do not give up now.

Do what you can by giving your best always and leave the rest. GOD IS FAITHFUL. He will not abandon you. He is a rewarder of diligence.

I hope this encourages you today?

TOPIC: "TAKE YOUR PLACE IN CHRIST"

SATURDAY 22ND FEBRUARY 2025. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
    -------------------------------------------------
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses (Acts 13:38-39)

What we just read brings to mind what the Bible says in Romans 3:24, that we've been justified freely by grace through the redemption that's in Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ we've received remission of sins, the complete removal of sins, and by Him we've been justified from all things, from which we couldn't be justified by the Law of Moses.

That means we've been declared acquitted, free from all charges and accusations. Blessed be God! Jesus made it so. He took your place so that you might take His place. Taking your place in Christ is what Christianity is about. Take what He gave up for you; take the place He has given you your new place in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."

Take your place of righteousness and express the will and nature of the Father. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich." This is your new place the place of wealth and abundance.

Also, read Ephesians 2:4-5 and see your place: "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)." You've been raised up together and made to sit together in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. This signifies a place of authority; you're recognized in the heavenly realm as a man or woman of dominion. Blessed be God!

    PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank You for the place You've given me in Christ-a place of glory, dominion, wealth, abundance and power. I walk in the consciousness of this reality, expressing Your will, nature and purpose as I reign and rule in life, exercising authority over circumstances, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

TOPIC: "INTIMACY WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT"

THURSDAY 6TH FEBRUARY 2025. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
    -------------------------------------------------
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen (2 Corinthians 13:14).

The foundational principles of developing a personal and intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit is through the Word of God and prayer. It's important to yield to Him through the Word and deepen your relationship with Him through prayer. Every relationship without communication dies, irrespective of what that relationship is, whether it's the relationship between parents and their children, spouses, co-workers, etc.

On the other hand, good communication nourishes and enhances relationships. If you're going to have a richer fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you need to commune effectively with Him in prayer. He's a person, and you've got to relate to Him as a person. Read our opening scripture again; it indicates the kind of relationship we're supposed to have with the Lord.

The Father is in heaven, and Jesus has gone to heaven; only the Holy Spirit is here with us. The God we know and relate to today is the Holy Spirit. He makes the presence of the Father and the presence of Jesus real to you. So, learn to talk to Him. That's why speaking in tongues is also vital. Speak in tongues often.

The Apostle Paul serves as a great example of a successful Christian and minister, and one of his secrets was fellowship with the Holy Spirit through prayer. He said, "I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all" (1 Corinthians 14:18). If Paul realized it was necessary for him to speak in tongues so much that he could say he spoke with tongues more than the whole Corinthian church, then you must recognize its importance. Speak in tongues every day and every so often, and build a sturdy relationship with the Holy Spirit.

    PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit; I recognize His presence in my life and yield fully to His leading. As I fellowship with Him, my spirit is built strong, and I'm empowered to live victoriously, every day, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
