  • My mom shared a story of how she entered a bus one day on her way to a particular city here in Nigeria to purchase materials for her business.

Immediately the vehicle took off,she started to feel uncomfortable. Her spirit became restless and she started feeling that something bad was going to happen.

So she began to pray in her spirit. You know when the holy spirit begins to bear witness within you that there is an operation of the kingdom of darkness within an environment.

As she continued to pray silently, she began to see the spirit of death hovering around their vehicle.

So she began to pray more seriously. One of the advantages we have as children of God is spiritual sensitivity. We can decode when an atmosphere is not just right. We can feel it.

She began to talk to God. She told God that because she was in that vehicle, she is cancelling that projection of death no matter who they sent it to. She and other innocent souls will not dìe because of one person carrying a projection of car accident.

    Hmmmmm

Not long after that, the driver of the vehicle pulled over to the side of the road and stopped. He told them to excuse him while he eased himself. Of course the passengers allowed.

10 minutes went by, driver did not return.

Passengers started to murmur. Didn't he know that they had appointments and deadlines to meet?

Did this man not know that they were working with time?

20 minutes. No sign of driver.

Haaaaaaa! Everybody started to come down from the vehicle to look for him.

Just at the side of the vehicle close to the boot was the driver.

    Standing still. Not moving.

Passengers started calling him to come and move the vehicle because they were running out of time. Driver wasn't moving. Just standing where he was. Still like a statue.

    Hmmmm

One of the passengers then walked up to him in anger thinking that he was deliberately ignoring them and touched him. The driver just dropped down on the ground. Dead.

People started to scream and shout and all of that. Mom said she couldn't even move.

    She was just there wondering.

What would have happened if this driver had died on the steering wheel????

Imagine how many people that he would have taken with him?

    Kai!

We really need to take our spiritual life serious, your level of spirituality determines your closeness with God.

I want you to know that God has already made provision for you and I in every situation we may find ourselves. But the issue is are not keyed into the realm He wants us to be, before we can be able to access all His promises and provisions for us.

God loves you and I want you to know that God is doing everything, just to be close to you. God wants us to have a relationship with Him. And this relationship is an intimate one. God wants you and I to have an intimate relationship with Him.

But we can only achieve all these by, building our spiritual lives through nurturing of the inner man. We need the leading of the holy Spirit through the inward witness (inner man)

God bless you all as you read and work on this Words of mine . Amen

The outage, which began last Monday, was triggered by the tripping off of the 330kV circuit transmission line between Benue and Enugu, as well as the one between Shiroro and Kaduna, thereby severely impacting numerous Northern states.

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) said the 330kV DC Ugwaji-Apir double circuit tripped due to a fault, plunging the Northeast, Northwest, and parts of Northcentral Nigeria into darkness.

Local businesses, particularly frozen food vendors that depend on refrigerators, are also feeling the strain, with many reporting significant losses due to spoiled inventory.

Water vendors have dramatically increased their prices, effectively doubling the cost of water as they contend with the added expenses of running generators for boreholes.

Vandals have also reportedly taken advantage of the situation, targeting transformers and other power infrastructure, which further complicates efforts to restore service.

TCN has acknowledged the ongoing outage, assuring residents that they are taking “every possible measure” to restore power to the Northern region.

The company attributed delays in restoration to infrastructure challenges exacerbated by vandalism and insecurity, which have created additional setbacks in the recovery process.

This latest fault in the 330kV DC transmission line occurred just days after Nigeria experienced three national grid collapses within a single week.

In 2024, Nigeria faced multiple national grid disturbances, resulting in widespread power outages and reduced electricity generation.

Patients at AKTH complain of mosquito infestation

Patients at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) in Kano said mosquitoes disrupt their sleep, especially at nights when the power from generating sets is off.

Malam Umaru Direba, a patient, stated that the absence of electricity worsens the mosquito problem, forcing him to rely on mosquito nets and repellents.

A hospital official noted that AKTH spends around N500,000 daily on diesel, limiting generator use mainly to evenings, although solar inverters help keep emergency services running.

Outside the hospital, frozen food vendors like Husseini Rufai and Salihu Usman at Tarauni market report losses, saying they are unable to store perishable goods without electricity.

Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO)’s Chief Commercial Officer, Abubakar Jimeta, attributed the prolonged outage to issues on the national grid and vandalism on critical transmission lines and assured that efforts to restore supply are underway. Daily Trust

  • Stay away from those who refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes.
Instead make you feel guilty for being upset when they’ve hurt you.
You deserve to be surrounded by people who respect your feelings, not those who twist the situation to avoid accountability.
