• My Dad has a way of feeding you that is both funny and Fearful.
If he finds something you enjoy, your own don finish.
He will buy it so much, you’ll beg him to stop.

Hope was just gisting me of when my Dad found out her Favourite fruit was Apples and he bought so much for her, it started irritating her.

It reminded me of when my Parents found us singling Buchacha Mimee and bought Two Cartons.
    God!!!
    Only Song oh…
It did not live up to the hype and we kept dashing it out until it miraculously finished
What of Superbite Sausages, would buy Two dozens and be sharing at a point, he told us to come and take and we started saying, “No, Thanks Sah!”

My Mum found o ur we liked Golden Morn and bought so much for us until we started rejecting it as Breakfast.

My parents do not understand the concept of “It’s Okay.”
So we are very thoroughly spoilt.

Even till date, I have to tell them, “Don’t send more.” “It’s Enough.”
What am doing with 10L of Palm oil every two months?
    Am I drinking it?

    Mummy Pleaseeee

  • Dear Lord, As I begin this Sunday Afternoon , I come before you, seeking renewal in my mind, body, and spirit. I ask that you fill me with your peace and mercy and help me to let go of any burdens that are weighing me down. May your Holy Spirit wash over me, cleansing my heart and refreshing my soul.

  • Is money really happiness?

Many people think that having money will solve all their problems and make them happy. Yes, money is important. It helps us buy food, pay rent, take care of family, and live a comfortable life. But is it the real source of happiness?

The truth is, money can only give temporary happiness. You might feel excited when you buy a new car, phone, or clothes, but that feeling doesn’t last forever. True happiness comes from things money cannot buy – love, good health, peace of mind, and strong relationships with family and friends.

Also, too much focus on money can make people greedy and stressed. Some people work so hard for money that they forget to enjoy life. They lose time with loved ones, and in the end, they still don’t feel happy.

    In conclusion,
money is important, but it’s not everything. It can make life easier, but true happiness comes from within – from being grateful, kind, and having meaningful connections with others.

  • think about where you were last year . think about the things that used to worry you so much that no longer consume your mind and time . the relationship/friendship that wasn’t healthy . the stress about what this year will be like . the things you never thought you would accomplish but did . ALL OF THOSE THINGS ARE WORTHY OF BEING GRATEFUL FOR & are beautiful reminders that after everything that happened , YOU ARE GOING TO BE OKAY.

  • The mind tends todwell upon whatever is repeatedover and over. Unfortunately,
the mind doesn’t discriminatebetween messages that are goodfor us and those that are harmful.
If we hear something often enough, we will tend to believeit... and act upon it. Just as a song repeated many times willget us thinking about that song, so too will repeatedthoughts about success get us thinking about success! So if we’ll make sure to fill our mind with positive messages, we’re going to be more positive and move forwardboldly to achieve our goals.

  • Reflecting on 2024, I'm reminded that growth often comes with its share of challenges. Last year was a mixed bag of experiences - from struggles with decision-making and finances to relationship woes and spiritual doubts. There were times when I felt stuck, unsure of how to escape the cycle of setbacks.
However, in the midst of adversity, I discovered resilience. With perseverance and determination, I survived by God's grace. I've learned valuable lessons from those trying times and promised myself to avoid repeating past mistakes.
As I step into 2025, I'm committed to progress and praying for God's guidance. I'm eager to apply the lessons of 2024 and make positive changes in my life. To those facing similar struggles, don't give up! Draw on your inner strength, seek help when needed, and remember that setbacks are opportunities for growth.

May God bless and guide us all as we navigate the ups and downs of life.
