  • ANOTHER STEP OF LONG LIVING

Regular exercise is another key component of living a long and healthy life. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity most days of the week. This can include brisk walking, cycling, swimming, or dancing. Exercise helps maintain a healthy weight, strengthens bones and muscles, and improves cardiovascular health. It also reduces stress and anxiety, promoting mental well-being.

  • He came to propose to me, and died in my hostel

Jareth came over to my hostel that evening. We ate, laughed, and talked about everything—our future, our plans, the names of our unborn kids. It was perfect.

By nightfall, he yawned and stretched.

"Babe, I’ll be leaving soon. I just need to rest a little before heading home. Tomorrow’s a busy day at work."

    "Okay,"

    I smiled, kissing his forehead.

    I let him sleep.

But at 9 PM, when I tried to wake him, he didn’t move.

    "Jareth?"

    I whispered, shaking him lightly.

    Nothing.

    "Babes? Ademi, Ayanfe mi?"

    I shook him harder.

    "Jareth, wake up!"

    Still nothing.

I pushed, slapped, screamed—no response. His body was warm, but he wasn’t breathing.

Then, the real horror set in.

    Jareth was dead.

My neighbors were gone for the night. It was as if they all planned to go to a party that night.

    I was alone.

    See me, see Kirikiri.

    See court, see jail!

I grabbed his shoulders, shaking him with all my might.

"Jareth, please! Don’t do this to me!"

    He didn’t even twitch.

I pounded his chest. I tried mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. I did everything I had ever seen in a medical drama, but he just lay there, lifeless.

    Then... his phone rang.

    I looked at the screen.

    His mum.

    I froze.

Then another call—his elder sister. Then another—his younger brother.

As if they knew. They kept calling.

My heart pounded so hard it felt like it would explode.

    What would I tell them?

    I panicked.

I couldn’t call the police. No hospital would accept him without a proper explanation.

    I am finished.

My stomach churned. I ran outside to throw up in the nearby gutter. I started coughing. I was disoriented.

Then, his friends started calling too.

    I had to move him.

    But how?

His body felt heavier than the weight of my sins.

I dragged him to the car, struggling to lift him inside.

The boot? No. That was too suspicious.

I sat him upright in the passenger seat and buckled him in.

    Then, I started the engine.

As I drove out, the security greeted him.

"Bros don jonz. He like life. See as he sleep. Bros we greet oh."

    One of them laughed.

    If only they knew.

I reached the big ditch. Student usually use it as a dumb site.

I turned off the car and sat there, crying for an hour.

"Jareth, please wake up. Please, baby. We had plans. Our dream house, our children... we were supposed to grow old together."

Nothing. I caught myself talking alone. I was beginning to run mad!

His lifeless body just sat there, unmoving.

I wiped my tears. I had no choice.

I opened the car door, went to his side, and pulled his body toward the ditch.

Then—something small rolled out of his pocket.

    A small box.

I bent down and picked it up with trembling hands.

    An engagement ring.

    I stopped breathing.

He came to propose to me.

    That realization shattered my soul.

I staggered back, the air suddenly too thick to inhale.

    My entire body shook.

I couldn't do it. I laid on he floor with him, begging him to just wake for some minutes, and propose to me.

    No.

I had to go back. I had to tell his family the truth. Whatever happened next, I will be ready.

I wiped my eyes, summoned all my strength, and struggled to lift him back into the car.

I was almost at my hostel gate when police stopped me.

They checked and tried to wake him but he didn't.

"I don't know why fine girl like you will be dating drunkard like this."

I was nearly ruining mad. How the police didn't noticed was beyond my understanding.

When I got home, my door was open.

    I knew I locked it.

Something moved inside. I saw a sharp shadow running in my house.

My heart should have skipped a beat. But it didn’t. Because I was already dead inside.

    Jareth was gone.

Whoever was inside could kill me if they wanted.

I grabbed a wooden plank near the door and stormed in.

    And then—

    UPROAR.

    "SURPRISE!!!"

    My legs buckled.I blinked, confused.

In front of me stood Jareth’s mum, my mum, my brother, his siblings, his friends— even my neighbours

    All smiling.

My friends, Helen, Lydia and Johana all opening their wide teeth and holding balloons.

    Then— music started playing.

A saxophonist emerged from my room, holding a small banner that read:

    "Turn around."

    I slowly turned.

    And there he was Jareth.

Alive. Smiling. Holding the same ring I had seen by the ditch.

    "Babe,"

    he grinned.

"You always say nothing scares you. So, I decided to put that to the test. I love you. Please....."

I didn't bother to wait to hear the last sentence before I collapsed.

I woke up to laughter and claps.

Jareth sat beside me, holding my hand.

    "So... will you marry me?"

    he whispered.

With no strength left to scream or faint again, I nodded.

    "Yes."

    I will forever love him.

    But first...

    I need to kill him.

    The End.

  • What a powerful and thought-provoking statement! It highlights the hypocrisy and double standards that often exist in society.

It's indeed foolish to judge and criticize single women with kids, while praising one's own single mother for her strength and resilience. This contradiction reveals a lack of empathy, understanding, and self-awareness.

Your statement encourages us to reflect on our own biases and behaviors, and to treat others with the same kindness, respect, and admiration that we have for our own loved ones.

  • THE HIGH COST OF A FEW MINUTES OF PLEASURE

Why Sexual Discipline Is a Must for Every Man

Some men have destroyed their entire future for just a few minutes in bed.
Some have lost their money, health, focus, and even their lives—just because they couldn’t control their urges.

Lust is expensive—but many don’t realize the price until it’s too late.

If you think a little “fun” can’t ruin you, let me remind you:

Samson lost his strength to Delilah.

David risked his kingdom for Bathsheba.

Many great men have been reduced to nothing—all because of a few minutes of pleasure.

Oga, wake up before you become the next victim.

WHAT SEXUAL INDULGENCE WILL COST YOU

    1. YOUR MONEY

Sex is not cheap—especially in today’s world.

One "babe" says, “I need urgent 2K.” You send it.

Another one says, “I need my hair done.” You pay.

Another one says, “My rent is due.” You cover it.

Before you know it, your bank account is dry—but guess what? The same women will leave you for the next man with more money.

    Ask yourself:

How many successful men waste money on women before building themselves?

How many rich men spend recklessly on pleasure without making sure their empire is secured?

If money is power, why would you drain yourself just to impress someone who will forget you tomorrow?

Solution: Secure your finances before you secure a woman.

    2. YOUR HEALTH

    Casual sex comes with consequences.

STDs don’t care if you were just “having fun.”

Unwanted pregnancies don’t care if you were “not ready.”

Stress, anxiety, and emotional drama come as part of the package.

Many men have ruined their health chasing after pleasure.
From infections to lifelong regrets, the body always pays the price.

Solution: Control your body before it destroys you.

    3. YOUR FOCUS & DISCIPLINE

Every time you chase pleasure, you waste:

Time you could use to build yourself.

Energy you could use to achieve success.

Discipline that makes you strong as a man.

Oga, the men at the top didn’t get there by chasing women all day.
They built themselves first—then women came as a result.

    But many of you?

You are busy DMing women instead of learning skills.

You are on dating apps instead of reading books.

You are watching porn instead of working on your goals.

And then you wonder why life is hard.

Solution: Master your discipline, and success will follow.

    4. YOUR REPUTATION

    Men don’t respect weak men.
And nothing weakens a man more than being controlled by lust.

If you’re chasing every woman in town, people talk.

If you’re sleeping around recklessly, people notice.

If you’re addicted to sex and pleasure, people lose respect for you.

You may think nobody knows—but the streets are always watching.

And when real opportunities come, your bad reputation will close doors in your face.

Solution: Build a name that commands respect, not mockery.

    5. YOUR DESTINY

History is full of men who had great potential but lost everything to women, sex, and pleasure.

    Politicians destroyed by scandals.

    Businessmen ruined by side chicks.

Athletes and celebrities who lost their wealth because they couldn’t control themselves.

For what? A few minutes of pleasure?

One bad decision can cost you your entire future.

Solution: Think long-term. Don’t let short-term pleasure destroy your lifetime success.

    BOTTOM LINE: DISCIPLINE OR DESTRUCTION?

Sex isn’t bad—but lack of control will destroy you.

A moment of pleasure can cost you years of regret.

An undisciplined man will always be a slave to his desires.

If you can’t control your lust, someone else will control you through it.

The greatest men in history were masters of their discipline—not slaves to their desires.

    So choose wisely:

Will you be strong enough to build your future?

Or will you waste it all for a few minutes of pleasure?

    The choice is yours.

  • *There are 3 most important thing anyone can become on earth.*

    1. A good mother
    2. A patient teacher
    3. A true leader

Of all the 3, being a *good mother* is the toughest yet the greatest because every teacher and leader was raised by a mother.

A mother is a receiver of seeds.
    A home builder.
    A helper.
    A support system
And most of all, a nurturer.

I feel it is insulting to ask a mother what is she bringing to the table.

It takes mental, physical and extraordinary strength to be a Nurturer.

    Money cannot replace it!

When the father is absent in a home, it affects the way the child sees the world but when a child grows up without a mother and someone playing a motherly role, it affects the way a nation is built because every causing mayhem or making impact came from a home.

Being a mother is a journey rather than a destination.

You may feel you have a bad mother...no mother is bad, they are only displaying bad qualities. Be patient with her while loving her regardless of how she treats you.

And for the priceless contributions mothers make, we honour and celebrate you all.

HAPPY MOTHERING Sunday AT ALL MOTHERS AND POTENTIAL MOTHERS.
