🙆‍♀️ LAUGHTER 😩 After being fïred at work yesterday I called my girlfriend to share the bäd news with her😔. Before I was even done explaining the reason to why I was fïred she hangëd up the call, so I thought maybe her phone had gone off or something.😔😔 I passed through to her crib when going home but Unfortünately she wasn’t around, I called her again and she said “Sorry to tell you this but we are done, I mean you and I it’s over” 😒 I was confused 🤔 and I tried to ask her the reason but she hangëd up on me again😔 I was so heartbröken 💔 plus the païn of losing my job😭😭😭 So I decided to board a motorbike🛵 instead of a taxi🚕 because of traffic since I wanted to reach home In time so that I sleep over everything 😔😔 The motorbike guy dropped off in my street that was around 11pm and I started taking a walk to my house 🚶🚶 After 3-5 minutes I looked back and I saw the same motorbike guy running towards me 🏃 without his motorbike, I changed direction🚶 and he also followed. 🏃 This time I had no other option that to start running away because I was sçared 🏃🤔 The more I increase my speed the more the guy increases his speed, 🏃🏃 I thought to myself while running “Lord what’s happening to me today😩😔 first it was my job, second it was my relationshïp 💔 and now someone is after my life”😔 When I was tired I stopped and said to the motorbike guy while tëars rolling down from my face “Please don’t kïll me🙏” 😭 The guy said with an ängry face “You f00l just give me back my helmet which is on your head” 😒🚶. 😂😂😂 Ómó. PORTRAITS OF SHAME In the market you find a poor woman with a baby at her back you lower your car window and with a military rough command voice you asked her: How much are you selling those onions and bananas? The poor seller politely replies, "N1,500 for a bunch of bananas and N1,000 for a pack of onions.'' With pride you demand the bunch of bananas at N800 and the the pack of onions at N700 or else you will leave. The poor seller resigns to fate and replies, "take them at the price you want. I have not made any sale today, at least I have something for supper now." She has made a loss but she goes further to buy a plastic bag for you to pack the two items you have just bought. You order her to hurry up otherwise you may change your mind. She apologises and with a smile, she gives you the items and she blesses you for patronizing her. You literally throw the money at her and you sped away leaving behind a cloud of smoke and dust which causes a bit of discomfort to her and the baby. She is coughing while securing her little money. Her poverty has left her with no choice. You have now arrived at the 5-star restaurant where you are to meet friends and you ask them to order food and drinks of their choice. They order expensive food and the leftovers are more than the food they have eaten. The total bill is N65,000 and you pay without bargaining, you gave a tip of N5,000 appreciating the waiter for a delicious meal....which you didn't eat even half of. This incident might seem quite normal to you but it's inhumane... THE POINT IS:-👇 Why do we always show that we have the bargaining power when we buy from the poor? Why do we become arrogant when buying from the poor? Why do we become stingy when buying from the vulnerable? Why do we show generosity to those who do not even need our generosity? Why do we become polite when buying from the rich who view our money as mere change? Why do we channel money to a sea of money? Please buy simple goods from the poor people at high prices....do it deliberately. Sometimes, pay extra for the items you buy from poor women...you are only blessing them in your little way Please where possible buy items from local markets. To everyone reading this, please, everytime you see them in traffic, taxi parks, bus stops, on the streets....just buy! Don't bargain. They are not looking for money to buy expensive clothes or mansions or cars, but to feed their children back home and pay school fees. If you like street food, come here😎 There's a chicken sempol recipe that's tastier than the ones on the roadside! Ingredients: 250 g Ground chicken 1 carrot (coarsely grated) 100 g Corn kernels 2 stalks of spring onions (sliced) 3 cloves of garlic 7 shallots 150 g Tapioca flour 50 g Wheat flour 1 Egg 35 ml Water 1 tsp Pepper 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Sugar Oil for frying Skewers Dipping ingredients: 2 Eggs 50 ml Water ½ tsp Pepper ½ tsp Salt Liquid Sauce 5 tbsp chili sauce 3 tbsp tomato sauce 300 ml water How to Make: 1. Puree the chicken, garlic, and shallots with a food processor. 2. Add tapioca flour, wheat flour, pepper, salt, sugar, eggs, and water, to the chicken mixture. Process until well blended. 3. Add corn, carrots, and spring onions. 4. Take the dough and wrap it around the satay skewers. Do this until the dough runs out. 5. Boil the sempol until cooked, then remove and drain. 6. Mix all the dipping ingredients until well blended. 7. Dip the sempol into the dipping ingredients. Then fry until browned. 8. Sauce: Mix all ingredients, stir well. 9.
