  • At times we carry emotional baggage unconsciously, because they've been suppressed due to the trauma from maybe our childhood, which by now we've probably forgotten as our brain actively tries to protect us from that exposure and would rather box such memories in.
    But when we do notice that these baggages exist and do nothing about it or suppress it further, we are intentionally weighing ourselves down

    The first step would be acknowledging and accepting their existence, its not your fault you got hurt but its when you refuse to treat the wound and evading only worsens it
