  • Modesty is not old fashion.

Seeing girls dress naked wows me so much. At times I don't blame them, because we are in a generation where nudity is now a norm, and modesty seems outdated.

In fact nakedness is being advertised in every corner of the world. You see them on televisions, it is there in magazine and newspapers, on the streets it so much, on social media platforms it so much, the worst of it all is that it is now found in churches. The church nowadays is coping the system of the world, the church is now modernizing the way of the cross. Everybody comes to church to show off their dress(please I am not saying you shouldn't dress beautiful or look shabby) but please don't dress naked.

Indecency is not only seen among ladies or girls, it also seen in guys. As a guy why wear shirt and you won't button it,and you are freely advertising you chest for us to see? Why the sagging? Why the tight jean trousers.

And to the ladies if I should start mentioning it that means I won't drop my pen. Please ladies dress properly, cover your body don't you know that your body is the temple of God?

Modesty is Royalty, if you don't know it know it now. Cover up your lady, your breast is among the private part and not a public show, your laps, your buttocks, arm pit cover them up. Stop attracting unwanted flies to perch on the food meant for a king.

See young ladies let me tell you this for free, you can be "Godly and Charming". You don't need to dress naked to show that you are beautiful.

Decent girls are beautiful, dress decently and look beautiful.

You are a queen, so dress like one!!!

  • ❗️ IT IS OVER

Olamide has peacefully allowed Asake to terminate his contract and part ways with his record label, YBNL Music.

Asake has been given the masters to all his songs recorded under the label, but they will maintain a royalty split on the songs for as long as the contract was intended to run, which is a minimum of 10 years.

Olamide said this: "I didn't create YBNL because I wanted to make money. I created it because I wanted to see other young people grow, so if any artist under me wants to leave, they are free. Asake has done his part, and I'm proud of him."

Asake has now removed anything concerning YBNL from his social media handles and unf0ll0wed everyone, including Olamide.

This contract was reportedly terminated a few months ago after the release of his Lungu album!

    We wish Asake well!

  • Elara's Journey of Transformation

    #Story

In the quaint village of Eldergrove, nestled on the edge of an ancient forest, lived a young girl named Elara. Orphaned at a tender age, she grew up under the care of her elderly grandmother.

They lived in a small, rundown cottage, where Elara spent her days helping with chores and dreaming of a different life. Though her clothes were tattered and her shoes barely held together, Elara possessed a heart full of kindness and a spirit that refused to be subdued.

One particularly lonely evening, as Elara sat by the crumbling hearth, tracing the patterns in the fire with her eyes, she noticed something peculiar. A soft, golden light emerged from the shadows of the room, growing brighter and more encompassing.

To her astonishment, the light took the shape of a woman, majestic and ethereal. "Do not be afraid," the woman said in a voice like gentle music. "I am Lira, the Guardian of Wishes, and I have been drawn here by your pure heart."

Elara, though surprised, felt an overwhelming sense of warmth and comfort in the presence of the guardian. "What do you seek?" Lira asked softly.

Flustered, Elara replied, "I only wish for my grandmother's well-being and a chance to leave this village to see the world."

Lira smiled, and with a wave of her hand, a shimmering dust enveloped Elara. In a moment, her worn-out garments transformed into a gown of delicate blues and silvers, so finely crafted it seemed woven from the moonlight itself.

Her old shoes became elegant slippers, and around her neck appeared a necklace with a gem that glowed with an inner light.

When Elara looked in the small, cracked mirror by the hearth, she barely recognized the reflection staring back. Gone was the poor village girl, replaced by a visage worthy of royalty.

"With this new form, doors will open for you, Elara," Lira said. "But remember, it is your heart that defines you, not your appearance."

With tears of gratitude, Elara thanked Lira, who vanished as suddenly as she had appeared. Armed with newfound confidence, Elara set off to explore the world.

Her journey took her to kingdoms far and wide, where she touched lives with her kindness and wisdom. Tales of the mysterious princess spread, inspiring hope and kindness wherever she went.

And though she traveled far, Elara never forgot her humble beginnings, often returning to Eldergrove to share her fortune and joy with her beloved grandmother.

In the end, Elara realized that her true transformation had nothing to do with her appearance but rather the courage to dream and the will to act on those dreams.

  • Yes we can't deny everything about the Edo Traditional wedding screams Royalty and Luxury. I couldn't help but write about it.

One of the main themes in a traditional Edo wedding has to be the infusion of coral beads. The bride is adorned with Ivie (coral beads) and crowned with a beaded headpiece (Okuku). It has to be one of the most regal things ever.

The first step in the traditional ceremony is the bride price discussion which is a dramatic ceremonial process. Once the “negotiations” are done and everyone is satisfied with the agreed upon price, the introductions begin.

My favorite part of the ceremony is when “fake brides” are bought out by the older women of the family and the groom is asked over and over to identify his bride. Its a fun process during which the groom is extorted for even more money for various “activities”. Finally the bride is brought out (to the groom’s excitement) and the groom (hopefully) identifies his mate. The bride is then presented to her new family, who then hand over their new wife to her husband.

Edo weddings are also characterized by joyous celebrations. Traditional music and dance play a crucial role, with lively performances that bring together family and friends. These dances, often performed in colorful, coordinated outfits, are not just for entertainment but are integral to the expression of joy and communal solidarity.
