  • Drug-induced liver injury

Drug-induced liver injury (DILI) is an injury of the liver that may occur when you take certain medicines.

Other types of liver injury include:
    a.Viral hepatitis
    b.Alcoholic hepatitis
    c.Autoimmune hepatitis
    d.Iron overload
    e.Fatty liver

    Causes:

The liver helps the body break down certain medicines. These include some drugs that you buy over-the-counter or your health care provider prescribes for you. However, the process is slower in some people. This can make you more likely to get liver damage.
Some drugs can cause hepatitis with small doses, even if the liver breakdown system is normal. Large doses of many medicines can damage a normal liver.

Many different drugs can cause drug-induced hepatitis.
Painkillers and fever reducers that contain acetaminophen are a common cause of liver injury, particularly when taken in doses greater than those recommended. People who drink alcohol to excess are more likely to have this problem.

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen, diclofenac, and naproxen, may also cause drug-induced hepatitis.

  • ARTHRITIS

Arthritis is a disease that causes damage in your joints. Joints are places in your body where two bones meet.

Some joints naturally wear down as you age. Lots of people develop arthritis after that normal, lifelong wear and tear. Some types of arthritis happen after injuries that damage a joint. Certain health conditions also cause arthritis.

Arthritis can affect any joint, but is most common in people’s:
    Hands,wrists,knees,
    hips,feet,ankles and
    shoulders.
    Lower back (lumbar spine).
A healthcare provider will help you find ways to manage symptoms like pain and stiffness. Some people with severe arthritis eventually need surgery to replace their affected joints.

Visit a healthcare provider if you’re experiencing joint pain that’s severe enough to affect your daily routine or if it feels like you can’t move or use your joints as well as usual.

  • SOMETHING SHOCKING HAPPENED TODAY.

I went to Air-force base in Ikeja today to see a colleague. So when I was going, I entered a bus to oshodi,

When the bus moved , I asked the conductor how much "He said 500" I said I paid but 300naira while coming, why the sudden new high price?? And he started abusing and calling me Oloriburuku, ashawo, you don't have money you dey enter motor.

People in the bus were surprised and started wondering if he knows me before or we have a personal issues.

At that moment, I was already boiling inside me but I tried as much as I can to control my emotions and remain calm.๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

After everything the driver intervened and calmed the situation.

When we got to Oshodi, the conductor jumped out of the bus (the way they use to) and he immediately slumped on the ground .

Knowing that something is wrong, I rushed to apply CPR on him but he wasn't responding, so the driver rushed him to the nearest hospital, which I and some of the passengers followed him.

When we got to the hospital, the doctor checked him and said he had a heart attack and his pulse stopped before we came.

We sympathize with the driver and went our separate ways.

As I got home, my head was full of different thoughts, "What if I had threatening him? What if I reacted when he was abusing me.?

One thing we all should learn from this is how to control our emotions no matter the provocation.

No matter the provocation, don't beat or threaten anyone, doesn't mean you're a fool, not everybody is alive out there

There are many walking corpse out there looking for who will klll them, learn from this so that you won't become a victim.

  • *I found this worth sharing ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ*

The Governor said to his Secretary in Hausa: This is my friend, Dogara. He is a very important political ally. Make sure that whenever he comes, you let me know immediately so that I can see him.

And so, every time Dogara went to see the Governor, he was guaranteed accelerated access. Until one day.

Dogara was asked to sit and wait. The Governor was with Classmates and couldn't be disturbed. Dogara was confused. This was new. Who could be this person that was so important. Nobody had received such preeminent attention in the past visits. He Sat and waited, anxious to see who was more important than the great Dogara.

After about 30 minutes of raucous laughter coming from inside the office, the door opened and some people came out, about a dozen, all shapes and sizes, all of similar age. And they laughed. One even had the guts to say to his Governor: "see this small boy!" And his Governor even laughed.

Dogara didn't understand it. He expected the Governor to turn back at the Secretary's table. He did not. He would come back at the reception he was sure. Still he did not. He walked with them to the car park. Still he stood, chatting for another 5 minutes before returning to the office.

Dogara was unhappy. The Governor asked Dogara why he was downcast. Dogara replied that when he was told the Governor was with his Classmates, he thought it was one person. He was surprised to see that they were many and that the Governor walked them to the car park, something he had never seen him do for anybody.

"So, how can I make you happy", asked the Governor? He really valued Dogara. "Well, there is one thing you can do for me" Dogara replied. "Ask", the Governor said. Without hesitation, dogara replied: "I want to be one of your Classmates"!
The governor politely told his friend, Dogara, *classmates are not made out of friends but friends are made out of classmates.*

Classmates for life. It's a different kind of friendship!
