    MAMMAL
    Also known as: (hyaena)

hyena, (family Hyaenidae), any of three species of coarse-furred, doglike carnivores found in Asia and Africa and noted for their scavenging habits. Hyenas have long forelegs and a powerful neck and shoulders for dismembering and carrying prey. Hyenas are tireless trotters with excellent sight, hearing, and smell for locating carrion, and they are proficient hunters as well. All hyenas are more or less nocturnal.

Intelligent, curious, and opportunistic in matters of diet, hyenas frequently come into contact with humans. The spotted, or laughing, hyena (Crocuta crocuta) is the largest species and will burglarize food stores, steal livestock, occasionally kill people, and consume wastes—habits for which they are usually despised, even by the Masai, who leave out their dead for hyenas. Even so, hyena body parts are sought for traditional tokens and potions made to cure barrenness, grant wisdom, and enable the blind to find their way around. Brown hyenas (Parahyaena brunnea or sometimes Hyaena brunnea) are blamed for many livestock deaths that they probably do not cause. Similarly, from North Africa eastward to India, striped hyenas (H. hyaena) are blamed when small children disappear and for supposedly attacking small livestock and digging up graves. In consequence, some populations have been persecuted nearly to extinction. All three species are in decline outside protected areas.

I’m more than a conqueror! I have been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of light. Diseases and infirmities are not a part of my life in the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. I recognize the efficacy of God’s Word that works in me today. I have and enjoy perfect health, victory, success, and prosperity now and always. My body and everything connected to me align with God’s provisions. Christ’s glory manifests in my body as I flourish in divine health daily. I believe God’s Word for me. I speak it because it is my life. The glory and blessings therein are evident in my life. I speak the same things God has said concerning me. I proclaim wellness, wholeness, and life to my body today.

Everything connected to me is infused with eternal life and divine energy. Everything about me exudes the life of Christ; therefore, my health does not fail, rather, it is ever radiant and ever flourishing. There is no failure in my body systems; no heart failure, no kidney failure, no lung failure, no liver failure. All the organs and systems of my body, my heart, kidneys, lungs, brain, liver, skin, blood vessels and all others are functioning perfectly. There is perfect soundness in my body. I am an associate of the God-kind, recreated into the image and likeness of the Son of God! I function from the place of advantage, victory, dominion and power. I am guided and propelled by God’s divine wisdom to do His will and fulfill my destiny in Christ. I affirm that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life.

My old life has been completely supplanted by the divine life, which is superior to sickness, disease, defeat and the depravities of the natural man. I refuse to allow resentment, hatred, jealousy, envy, bitterness, anger, strife, spite, ill will or baseness of any kind to take root in me. My heart is full of God’s love, kindness and compassion; and I express these lavishly everywhere and to everyone. I’m rich in all things, having inherited all things, for I’m a joint-heir with Christ! I’m fruitful and productive, making progress in every area of my life. I’m complete in Christ and every facet of my life is perfected for excellence. The Spirit guides and inspires me to take actions that’ll guarantee evident and unstoppable progress, increase and blessings for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

    *LOVE NOT THE WORLD*

    Wednesday, October 30th .
    Pastor Chris

_*And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice (1 Kings 11:9).*_

Though Solomon was a great king and the wisest man that ever lived before Jesus, he didn’t quite live His entire life pleasing the Lord. The Bible says he loved many “strange women” and followed their gods. He brought them from nations where God already forbade the children of Israel to marry from.

In 1 Kings 11:2, God said, _*“...Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods....”*_ But the concluding part of that verse says, _*“...Solomon clave unto these in love.”*_ As a result, the Lord wasn’t pleased with him. Some Christians are that way today. Their closest friends and associates are people of the world. Like Solomon, they cleave to the wrong people and to the wrong associations for the wrong reasons.

Some of them keep these friendships because they help to make them become socially famous or popular. But the Bible says, _*“…know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God”*_ (James 4:4). 1 John 2:15 says, _*“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”*_

Solomon chose to become a socially famous king. Read about him; after God’s second appearance to him, there’s no record of him praying anywhere in the Scriptures. Instead, everything associated with him was social. He was in one meeting or the other, receiving visitors, and attending parties, but no meetings with the Lord.

You have to understand that the people you associate with will become the standard for the things that take your time. These include your interests and the things you love. God said to the children of Israel, _*“…for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods...”*_ (1 Kings 11:2). Don’t say, “I know myself; they can’t influence me”; rather, simply heed God’s admonition. He already said concerning unwholesome associations, _*“…come out from among them, and be ye separate…”*_ (2 Corinthians 6:17). God knows better than you do. If He tells you the result of taking an action, trust that He’s right and follow His Word.

    *CONFESSION*

*I’m discerning in my relationships and guided by the wisdom of God to fraternize only with those who honour the Lord and His Word and have reverence for the things of the Spirit. I prioritize fellowship with the Lord above everything else and set my heart on the glory and realities of the Kingdom. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* ** *1 John 2:15 NIV* Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. **

** *1 Corinthians 15:33* Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. **

** *2 Corinthians 6:14-18* Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. **

  • The Complexity of Morality and the Illusion of Knowing

Morality has guided humanity for centuries, yet it remains one of the most complex aspects of our existence. We often hold onto our beliefs with certainty, convinced that our perspective is the right one. But in reality, morality is deeply influenced by culture, upbringing, and personal experiences. What seems absolutely right to one person might feel utterly wrong to another.

The danger lies in thinking we know all there is to know, that our viewpoint is the only valid one. When we assume we’ve reached the full truth, we close ourselves off to growth, understanding, and compassion. True wisdom isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about recognizing the limits of our knowledge and remaining open to new insights. Embracing the complexity of morality means acknowledging that none of us holds the whole truth, and that the journey to understanding is ongoing.

Let us approach our beliefs with humility, respecting that others may see the world differently, and that our perspectives are part of a much larger conversation. Morality isn’t a destination but a continuous process of learning, challenging, and evolving.
