There was a time I was following someone on this space. That person has this particular day of the week where she teaches how to be proficient in English language as a writer and common mistakes to avoid.
You won’t understand the meanings of words or the differences between similar-looking homophones until you look them up in the dictionary.
You need to brace yourself and stop being lazy about checking if the grammar you think is correct actually is.
Additionally, be more intentional about speaking only correct English. I know you're not so good, but start being intentional about speaking right. If you permit and overlook mistakes, they will greatly delay your proficiency.
Beyond speaking well, please start typing correctly in your DMs; it will greatly help you, believe me.
Don't be a shorthand writer yet you want to write grammatically accurate content; start from there. Personally, I've divorced shorthand form of writing a long time ago, and there's no going back on it.
