We Were Supposed To Be Examples:

Beacons of light meant to guide the wandering souls on the EARTH
A Living reflection of the virtues that heaven extols, especially when it relates to our HEALTH
Using our blueprints of faith and strength the world is consoled through us by his BREATH
Because we are called to inspire, uplift, and make the broken whole,

Yes we are all examples,
We are pioneers walking the paths of grace, unshaken by STRIFE,
We are models of courage carefully radiating our purpose in LIFE,
we are living testimonies, cutting through the world's bitter KNIFE,
And Symbols of hope, restoring meaning where despair is RIFE.

Yet, so many have lost their light, as it's now dimmed and LOW,
Now blinded by fleeting pleasures, forgetting what they OWN,
Trading their eternal purpose for dark shadows that will not make them GROW,
Failing to lead, even though they have being chosen to guide the SHOW.

So many have abandoned their call, just caught in the world's DISGUISE,
Living for applause while feeding on the world’s wisdom and LIES,
Forgetting that as examples, their heart should be lifted up only to the SKIES,
And not on other things leaving them and others stumbling, unable to RISE.

Because when men who are examples fail, destinies are left UNFOUND,
So many lives lose direction while hope fades without a SOUND.
So let us remember that in our walk, one's purpose must also ABOUND,
For men as example shape the world, especially when their meaning is crowned.
