  • WHY DO YOU WANT TO MARRY?

Some want to marry to escape house chores.

Some to get people to shut up and stop reminding them of their age.

Some out of jealousy of their friends who are getting married one by one.

Some, as a rebound from a broken relationship to prove to their EX that someone can need, love and marry them.

    Some, to escape parental pressure.

Some, because of sex - access to unlimited sex in marriage.

Some, to have a man lavish money on them "legitimately."

    Some, to bear children.

Some, to have a legally married maid who do all their sundry and slave to d£ath in the kitchen.

    Some to bear "Mrs."

    Some, to secure Pastoral appointment.

Some, to travel out or get residential permit abroad.

Some, to get a dad or mum for their kids.

And on and on it goes.

These are the wrong reasons for getting married. You read that right, read slowly again: THESE ARE WRONG REASONS FOR GETTING MARRIED.

You basically marry to help another person fulfill destiny. Others are bonuses.

You marry to give and be a blessing. Not use someone and suck blessings out of them.

After my fiance proposed and I accepted. I asked him "What is your vision? I like to know so I can help you fulfil it."

Marrying for selfish reasons is the reason many marriages are breaking down. No one wants to give, no one wants to love. No one wants to give patience and kindness. Everyone is shouting "Me! Me!! Me!!!" And when they don't get what they want, they cheat, they m√rder, they get divorced! Selfishness is the root cause of all marital crises.

We marry to give not just to get.

We marry to be a blessing to our spouse not use them as blessings.

We marry to make someone's life better, not bitter.

Until you get to this point, you are not ready for marriage regardless of your age.

  • 6 Reasons Businesses Collapse

Managing a business is not a walk in the park. Many businesses fail because some things are not in place to keep them standing.

When challenges arise, they place the blame on the wrong factors and make a quick decision to shut down.

Understanding the real reasons businesses fall short can help you protect yours from the same. And if your business has already hit a stop, this guide will help you restructure and build a more stable foundation.

Let’s dive in! Why do businesses shut down after a big loss?

    1: No Clear Vision

Some businesses exist solely to make money, but without a vision, there is no long-term direction. A vision acts as a roadmap, guiding you through both good and bad times. Your vision is your "WHY"—the core reason your business exists.

    2: Poor Self-Leadership

If a business owner cannot effectively lead themselves, they won’t be able to lead their team. Strong self-leadership is essential for making sound decisions and inspiring others.

    3: Prioritizing Self-Interest Over Employees

When business owners focus only on their personal gain while neglecting their employees' well-being, it leads to a toxic work environment which weakens a business.

    4: Sticking to Failing Strategies

If your current business routines and strategies are not delivering desired results, it is time for a change. Business growth requires adaptability and effective strategies.

    5: Financial Instability

Selling on credit, failing to track expenses, neglecting business needs, or diverting funds for personal use can quickly lead to financial ruin. Smart financial management is key to sustainability.

    6: Lack of Growth

Ignoring industry trends and failing to improve different aspects of your business can make your brand outdated. Continuous learning and adaptation are necessary for long-term success.

These six reasons can pull down a business. Identifying and addressing these issues will help you strengthen your business and avoid costly mistakes.

Which of these areas will you start working on today? Let's know in the comments.
