  • 9 lessons I've learnt as a professional photographer.

Professional photography has exposed me to some side of life I ordinarily won't have considered on a normal day.

    1. Life is too short, live the best of it and spend it with those who love you genuinely cos they're the ones who'll stand with you till the end.

    2. At the peak of celebration comes insane pressure, don't be overwhelmed or let your anger take over you. It's very easy to make mistakes at this point, calm down, the higher you go the more pressure.

    3. You know someone who really loves you by the way they look and admire you. You can't fake this...

    4. Prioritize family, prioritize family.

    5. Some people celebrating with you are not happy for you.

    6. Men turn up better than women both in times of celebrations and mourning.

    7. You can judge how a person lived his life, the impact he made by the people present in his final moment.

    8. Things may not go exactly as you've planned and still end up successful.

    9. Anything you do, make sure God is involved from the start.

My name is Henry and I'm a professional photographer and Videographer, feel free to share yours.

  • South African photographer Mark Dumbleton captured this powerful image of a lioness after a violent fight with a predator. She lost one of her teeth in the struggle but managed to protect her cub, ensuring his survival.
In the photograph, her face is stained with blood as she embraces her little one. The cub, named Ali, appears unaware of his mother’s pain and sacrifice—but one day, when he grows and takes on the responsibility of protecting the pride, he will understand the depth of her devotion.
This striking image is a reminder of the sacrifices mothers make, no matter the species.

  • Yesterday, I attended a workshop that turned out to be a masterclass for business moguls.

I learned almost everything they paid a huge amount of money for. As I was capturing the moment I was learning as well, the work wasn't stressful at all..

These are some of the privileges I enjoy as a photographer.

    I love what I do

PS: this picture was taken 4 years ago when I was a videographer
