  • Y'all are comparing BNXN to victony bruhh this same buju brought Timaya out of retirement and gave him he's biggest song ever.
He did the same thing with reminisce.

Buju's intervention in blaqbonez and ladipoes song changed their careers for good and till date they couldn't recreate that kinda song with themselves or with another artist.
He gave WizKid he's biggest song in 2022.

Buju brought Minz, fola, taves,Qinq Madi, savage and many others into the limelight and made them famous.
What has victony done that y'all are comparing him with buju that's basically biggest and Better than ??!

    — A buju die hard fan retaliates with fact's after Fan's we're busy comparing buju to victony .

    Thoughts on this??

  • Nigerian singer Tems saw off the likes of Yemi Alade, Burna Boy and Wizkid to take home the Best African Music Performance Grammy for her hit Love Me Jeje.

In an emotional acceptance speech on Sunday evening, she said her "heart was beating so fast".

It is only the second year since the category's introduction, a move that was widely welcomed as a recognition of the impact of African artists on the global music scene.

However, there was some controversy this year as US R&B star Chris Brown was one of the nominees - for his song Sensational, which incorporates Afrobeats elements and features guest vocals from Nigerian artists Davido and Lojay.

Tems was out of breath as she took to the stage after her name was read out at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

"I do work out but it's not showing up right now," she joked as she patted her heart to the amusement of the audience.

The 29-year-old also praised her mother.

“Wow, dear God thank you so much for putting me on this stage and bringing this team, and tomorrow is my mum’s birthday and this is her first Grammys.

“I just want to thank you mum," she said gesturing towards her, "because she has done a lot for me and my brother.”

Love Me Jeje, which samples a line from Seyi Sodimu's 1997 Nigerian classic of the same name, has racked up 125 million listens on Spotify and 21 million views on YouTube.

With Sunday's prize, Tems has become the first Nigerian to have two Grammys to her name after winning the Best Melodic Rap Performance in 2023 for featuring on Future's hit Wait For U.

  • TAKE IT OR YOU LEAVE IT
Right now Rema is a big thre@t to Davido, Burna boy and wizkid

With his rapid rise to fame, numerous international collaborations, and sold-out shows, Rema is proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the Nigerian music industry.

At just 22 years old, Rema has already achieved what many artists can only dream of:

Broken multiple records in the Nigerian music scene
Collaborated with international artists like Selena Gomez and Chris Brown
Sold out shows across the globe
Won numerous awards, including the Headies Next Rated award
Aside the big 3 and Missionary mama Tiwa, Rema is the only Nigerian artist that has been invited to attend the NBA all star games

Is Rema the new king of Nigerian music? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure - he's giving the big dogs a run for their money!

Moral lesson: he’s just 22 with this achievement, while me I’m 25yrs and my only achievement is being responsible for 5 different pregnancies This Life is just like Kpomo
