  • The winner takes all.
I have a theory: if you put in 80%, you get 80% back. But if you put in 100%, you get
1,000% back. The last 20% is where the magic happens. Because almost nobody is mad enough to go all in. Only a perfect storm of delusion, obsession and a pinch of childhood trauma makes that extra 20% possible. It's the part where you keep going long after logic says retreat. Where your biggest weakness becomes your biggest strength: an inability to stop. Because at a certain point, success isn't about talent or luck. It's about who's willing to suffer for the longest. Pain is the filter. Few pass it.

  • Dear men,
The biggest mistake you can make is thinking that you have time to be linear.
Men have to be winning on all frontiers simultaneously just to live a fucking solid existence.
Gotta make cash, stay jacked, build networks, read, write, travel, make plans, develop relationships, keep on top of grooming etc 24/7.

  • No one likes to lose, but most time we grow not from victories, but from setbacks.
Sometimes what we lost is exactly the same reason we started winning.

Losing is not always the end as most people think, sometimes it is actually the beginning, depending on how you choose to see It.

I know you must have lost something one time or the other, so cry if you have to, but then, wipe your tears, rise again, make good use of what's left, it might lead to what's greater.

Sometimes things fall apart, so you won't miss the greater things coming your path.

  • GOV ENO TASKS A'IBOM CHILDREN ON HARD WORK, FAITH IN GOD

... Donates N10m to award winning Akwa Ibom child

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has tasked children across the State to imbibe the spirit of hard work and faith in God to enable them attain greatness in life.

Addressing pupils of Pegasus School, Eket, who were on excursion to Government House, Uyo, he said though it was unusual to attend to other engagements on days billed for State Executive Council meetings, he decided to create time for the children to inspire them for greatness.

He recalled the story of a 16-year-old Bill Clinton in the summer of 1963, who met with President John F. Kennedy, got inspired to pursue a life in public service, and eventually became the 42nd president of the United States in 1993.

The Governor said attaining greatness is not accidental or automatic, but requires dints of hard work and the God factor, and advised the children to take their studies very seriously.

He said Pegasus School has a reputation for its quality education, and commended a pupil of the school, Henry Ndudu Ekong, who won the Interswitch school competition with an accompanied N15 Million University Scholarship.

Governor Eno who was delighted by Ndudu's academic excellence, also supported his University education with another N10 million.

He noted that the model primary schools and the planned three model secondary schools with state -of - the - art boarding facilities accross the state are aimed at providing quality education for Akwa Ibom children to enable them excel and live their dreams.

Responding to a question from one of the pupils on what it feels like to be a governor, he said it was simply a call to service and a responsibility; and assured them that government was committed to supporting Akwa Ibom children to excel in their different areas of choice.

He commended the school authority for maintaining their educational standard and for choosing to expose the pupils to the workings of government.

Earlier, the team lead, Mrs Uwem Ene, said the visit was basically to expose the pupils to the seat of government as part of their class room learning on civil society.

He appreciated the Governor for granting the visit, as well as the Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, Lady Helen Eno Obareki who took them round the different facilities in the Government House.
