Super Eagles and Galatasaray forward, Victor James Osimhen, has revealed his striking partnership with Mauro Icardi will become a force to be reckoned with in the Turkish Super Lïg, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 25-year-old scored his fourth league goal of the season in Galatasaray’s 2-1 win over Beşiktaş in the Istanbul derby last night.

Speaking after the game, the Napoli loanee expressed the confidence he has in Okan Buruk’s side. Osimhen mentioned he was sure of victory against Beşiktaş, and backed the RAMS Park faithful to defeat Ange Postecoglu’s Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.

“I said we would beat Beşiktaş, and we did. We will beat Tottenham too. I love Galatasaray and the fans so much. Our fans were incredible. They brought us the three points. We were playing well from the first moment to the last. We were up against a team with great talent. The goal contribution is valuable, I am happy, but it is more important for the team to win. We have to continue with this momentum,” the former LOSC Lille man said in quotes revealed by Star Spor.

Referring to the harmony between him and Icardi, Osimhen revealed it’ll be tough for any opposition to break his connection with the Argentine striker.

“Icardi and I understand each other very well. We work together in training. I know how experienced he is. I listen to what he says. It is an honor to play with Icardi. It is very difficult for any defense to block us. If they block me, he goes out, if they block him, I go out. They cannot stop us,” the former Wolfsburg man concluded.

Osimhen and Icardi have combined for a total of eleven goals in ten Super Lïg games this season.

  • Does hard work really beat talent as most people claim?

Let me tell you one rule, which you can follow almost universally.

And the rule is very simple.

Whenever you hear that there is a principle that is believed by most people as RIGHT, you can be sure that the principle is absolutely WRONG.

    In other words,

The degree of the falsehood of a statement is directly proportional to its popularity.

It is true that most people believe that hard work beats talent.

Hence, rest assured that hard work can’t beat talent.

If you don’t wish to join the gang of the majority who have lost all their self-confidence and prefer to follow the crowd, then instead of using your hard work to beat talent, do the following.

Use hard work to nurture talent.
Use your talent to beat the hard work.
Let me now explain these two principles in detail.

    1. Use hard work to nurture talent

Every human being has a talent for something.

In the same way, no human being has a talent for everything.

Let's take the case of Albert Einstein.

Einstein wrote four papers in 1905, on the topics of relativity, Brownian motion, Photoelectric effect and mass-energy equivalence.

All papers were so great that each paper deserved a Nobel Prize.

And he was hardly 26 years of age when he achieved this feat.

Unless you are super dumb and stupid, you don’t need convincing that Einstein was highly talented for this type of work.

It is not to say that he did not work hard.

However, he did not work hard to beat talent but rather worked hard to nurture his talent, which resulted in the creation of such great work for humanity at such a young age.

Imagine that instead of doing scientific research, Einstein had rather chosen to work very very hard to become a great soccer player!.

He would have perhaps been a failed sportsman who led a miserable life.

    2. Use your talent to beat the hard work

While hard work can’t beat talent, you can use your talent to beat hard work.

As a matter of fact, you can recognise your talent only when you are using it to beat hard work.

If you wish to identify your talent, always try to find out the most efficient way to produce the result.

When you discover that in any particular area, you can produce results with much lesser effort as compared to others, you identify your talent in such an arena.

If you work too hard to succeed in a particular area, that is a sure indication that you lack talent in that area.

Hence, you have to keep experimenting with different things in life, till you find your talent.

Once you discover your talent, work hard to nourish your talent, instead of trying to beat a talent with your hard work.

Albert Einstein said this so wisely, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

A fish can never climb a tree however hard it tries since it does not have the talent for climbing a tree.

However, even a lion can’t beat a fish when it comes to swimming inside water.

In the same way, you can’t succeed in any area of life for which you don’t have the desired talent., while in the area of talent, you can zoom through success easily.

The real challenge is to identify your talent since talent is not like the beauty of a person that is visible to the naked eye.

Hence, don’t believe in the stupid popular sayings which are freely available in the marketplace.

Instead, apply your mind to find the truth yourself to lead a happy and successful life.

Now that is the most important talent you have to start developing now.
