  • I’m not the person I once was.

Not the same woman, wife or friend.

I’m the mother immersed in early motherhood.

I struggle to make it anywhere on time. I’m always covered in children
or some sort of stain. And I regularly have to leave early.

I don’t have as much time to give my husband. I forget to tell him how
much I love and appreciate him. Yet I rely on him so much more.

I haven’t seen some of my friends in months. I regularly forget to
check in with them or message them back. I can’t remember the last
time I caught up with them without children in the middle.

And this adjustment hasn’t always been easy.
Some days I miss parts of the woman, the wife, and the friend I used be.
    The reliable one.
    The consistent one.
    The relaxed and carefree one.

But the changes have been worth it.
Because I have gained so much.

I have experienced growing, birthing and feeding babies. I’ve seen a
mental and physical strength in myself that I didn’t know I had.

I have felt the privilege of being an entire world to another human.
To have the honour of helping them on their path to create their own.

I understand what it is to be loved in a way only a mother knows. To
be wanted and needed so deeply. So purely and without condition.

Since becoming a mother my priorities have changed.
    My values have changed.
    I have changed.

But it’s the best sort of change.
Every single change is, no matter the difficulties that come with some of them.

These changes have been the making of me.
    A new me.
    The mother born into me.

    And I will keep changing.
I will keep evolving alongside my children, as we move through the
    seasons together.

Because that’s what it takes to be a mother.
That’s what comes with a love like this.
    It’s growth.
    It’s adapting.
And above all, it’s moving in the direction of your heart.

  • Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: "I maintain that finishing second and third in my two full seasons [with Man United] wasn’t bad given the level in the Premier League. We also reached a European final, but I see what Jose [Mourinho] means when he says that his best achievement was getting his United side to second in the league." (TheAthleticFC)

  • Faith in the Journey of Life

Life is full of ups and downs. Some days, we feel strong and assured of God's presence. Other days, we feel weak, questioning, "Why is this happening? Why does my world feel like it's falling apart?"

There are seasons when the answers don’t come, yet we must hold firmly to God's Word. One scripture that has always strengthened my faith is:

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." — Jeremiah 29:11

God’s plans are always good, even when life feels uncertain. He is faithful, but He works with those who believe and trust in Him. Faith isn’t just about waiting for better days—it’s about standing strong, knowing He is with us in every season.

If it ever feels like God is far away, believe

  • This morning, I sat in deep thought and realized how many people I’ve had to let go of.
I’ve always been a social person the jovial one, the friend, the comic relief.
My life was filled with people, and I embraced it because I wanted to belong.
But despite the crowd, the feeling of truly belonging wasn’t there.

At some point, I began to lose people not through fights or misunderstandings, but through an unspoken drift.
It wasn’t because I didn’t want them in my life anymore, but because the next phase of my journey required fewer voices.

I’ve come to understand that having too many people around can sometimes bring too many advice,
leaving you confused about which direction to take.
Too many opinions can cloud your judgment, making it harder to hear your own inner voice.

In certain seasons of life, you don’t need a crowd.
You might only need two solid people to walk with you through that stage.
    And that’s okay.

Learn to let go to create space for growth and clarity.
Letting go is often the key to moving forward.

    Hope you've got values?

Until I write to you again,

  • Last year may have felt heavy, with prayers lifted in desperation and tears shed in silence.

So as 2025 begins, declare it as 𝐚 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬. Not because God suddenly becomes aware of our needs, but because 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜t. What was once unclear will unfold with purpose.

If you’re stepping into this new year with lingering pain from past seasons, 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭. Those tears have watered the seeds of your prayers. The breakthroughs you’ve longed for—𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈—are not forgotten.
