TOPIC: "INTIMACY WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT"

THURSDAY 6TH FEBRUARY 2025. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
    -------------------------------------------------
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen (2 Corinthians 13:14).

The foundational principles of developing a personal and intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit is through the Word of God and prayer. It's important to yield to Him through the Word and deepen your relationship with Him through prayer. Every relationship without communication dies, irrespective of what that relationship is, whether it's the relationship between parents and their children, spouses, co-workers, etc.

On the other hand, good communication nourishes and enhances relationships. If you're going to have a richer fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you need to commune effectively with Him in prayer. He's a person, and you've got to relate to Him as a person. Read our opening scripture again; it indicates the kind of relationship we're supposed to have with the Lord.

The Father is in heaven, and Jesus has gone to heaven; only the Holy Spirit is here with us. The God we know and relate to today is the Holy Spirit. He makes the presence of the Father and the presence of Jesus real to you. So, learn to talk to Him. That's why speaking in tongues is also vital. Speak in tongues often.

The Apostle Paul serves as a great example of a successful Christian and minister, and one of his secrets was fellowship with the Holy Spirit through prayer. He said, "I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all" (1 Corinthians 14:18). If Paul realized it was necessary for him to speak in tongues so much that he could say he spoke with tongues more than the whole Corinthian church, then you must recognize its importance. Speak in tongues every day and every so often, and build a sturdy relationship with the Holy Spirit.

    PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit; I recognize His presence in my life and yield fully to His leading. As I fellowship with Him, my spirit is built strong, and I'm empowered to live victoriously, every day, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  • Understanding Health: A Holistic Perspective

Health is often viewed merely as the absence of illness, but it encompasses much more than that. It is a dynamic state of well-being that includes physical, mental, emotional, and social dimensions.

    1. Physical Health: This refers to the efficient functioning of the body and its systems. It includes regular exercise, a balanced diet, adequate sleep, and preventive healthcare.

    2. Mental Health: This aspect involves how we think, feel, and cope with life’s challenges. Good mental health allows us to manage stress, relate to others, and make choices.

    3. Emotional Health: Closely linked to mental health, emotional health involves understanding and managing our emotions effectively.

    4. Social Health: This dimension emphasizes the importance of relationships and social networks. Strong connections with family, friends, and the community contribute significantly to our overall sense of well-being.

Remember, health is a journey, not a destination!

  • Wealth is often defined as the abundance of valuable resources or material possessions, including money, property, and investments.

It can provide individuals with security, opportunities, and a higher quality of life.

However, true wealth encompasses not just financial assets but also intangible elements such as health, relationships, and personal fulfillment. The pursuit of wealth can drive innovation and economic growth, but it can also lead to disparities and ethical dilemmas if not managed responsibly.

Ultimately, the meaning of wealth varies from person to person, influenced by individual values and societal context.

  • Why cheating,
breakups and divorces are more nowadays?
This generation is a temptation generation.
People easily get tempted by the beautiful filters, make up, muscular curvy body, rich lifestyle. People focus more on exclusivity than simplicity. People are never happy with what they have. People easily get tempted and commit. People easily get bored.
Instead of putting efforts to sort it out, people assume and give up. That's why long lasting, healthy and happy relationships are rare nowadays.
Breakups, external affairs and divorces are increasing. We need to train our minds to not get tempted easily. To focus on inner beauty. To be grateful. To focus on our commitments and our values for partner

  • Date someone matured enough to say:

"Babe calm down let's settle this, am not ready to loose you, honestly I don't like what you did and I will appreciate if you stop it, cause it hurts me "... cool right?

Instead of someone who will go out there acting childishly and ignoring you. They won't stop there, they will run to all social media platforms with stupid quotes .

If you are matured enough, you will realise that Nowadays Relationships are not all about dating someone who is handsome, beautiful or dating your type. It's all about dating someone who really loves and cherish you, someone who cares and appreciates you and the relationship.
Someone who is ready to build the future with you.

Never build a relationship to impress friends and family NEVER!! Such relationship will fail in no time. You don't owe anyone anything.
