  • You can't expect kids to do everything simply because you, as a parent, "say so." They want and deserve explanations as much as adults do. If we don't take time to explain, kids will begin to wonder about our values and motives and whether they have any basis. Parents who reason with their kids allow them to understand and learn in a nonjudgmental way.

Make your expectations clear. If there is a problem, describe it, express your feelings, and invite your child to work on a solution with you. Be sure to include consequences. Make suggestions and offer choices. Be open to your child's suggestions as well. Negotiate. Kids who participate in decisions are more motivated to carry them out.

  • A woman NEVER LEAVES without already having another man lined up. If she dumps you, there was already a replacement waiting, and she was prepared for him.

Don't be fooled. When a woman leaves your side, it's not because she "wants to be alone." It's because she already has another door open—along with her heart and sometimes more...

Men believe that women end things first and then search for someone new, but the reality is quite the opposite:

    1. First, they find, then they finish.

    2. First, they secure, then they let go.

    3. First, they plan, then they execute.

It hurts to accept, but if she left you, chances are someone else was already on her radar.

This is how the harsh reality works, gentlemen:

1️⃣ Emotional distancing – She stops arguing, stops demanding, stops caring. Mentally, she’s already out of the relationship.

2️⃣ Exploring options – She might not be with someone else yet, but she’s surveying the market. She won’t stay alone for long.

3️⃣ Closing the next deal – It could be an ex, a long-time friend, or a new admirer who knew exactly what to say at the right moment.

4️⃣ Walking away without looking back – No second chances, no "let’s try again." By the time you realize what's happening, she’s already with someone new, while you’re still trying to process it.

Here's the truth they don’t tell you:

If a woman leaves you, it’s because she already has someone else supporting her.
If she says she "needs time," she’s already investing her time elsewhere.
If she swears she’s alone after the breakup, she just doesn’t want you to know who she’s with.

The problem is, men think this is just "bad luck," but in reality, it’s ignorance. Women don’t play randomly—they play chess. And while you were confident that "everything was fine," she was already making her next move.

Don't be naive. If you notice her pulling away, be prepared.

Because the next thing you’ll hear is: "I need space."

If you think she’ll come back, wake up she’s already gn

  • GOV ENO TASKS A'IBOM CHILDREN ON HARD WORK, FAITH IN GOD

... Donates N10m to award winning Akwa Ibom child

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has tasked children across the State to imbibe the spirit of hard work and faith in God to enable them attain greatness in life.

Addressing pupils of Pegasus School, Eket, who were on excursion to Government House, Uyo, he said though it was unusual to attend to other engagements on days billed for State Executive Council meetings, he decided to create time for the children to inspire them for greatness.

He recalled the story of a 16-year-old Bill Clinton in the summer of 1963, who met with President John F. Kennedy, got inspired to pursue a life in public service, and eventually became the 42nd president of the United States in 1993.

The Governor said attaining greatness is not accidental or automatic, but requires dints of hard work and the God factor, and advised the children to take their studies very seriously.

He said Pegasus School has a reputation for its quality education, and commended a pupil of the school, Henry Ndudu Ekong, who won the Interswitch school competition with an accompanied N15 Million University Scholarship.

Governor Eno who was delighted by Ndudu's academic excellence, also supported his University education with another N10 million.

He noted that the model primary schools and the planned three model secondary schools with state -of - the - art boarding facilities accross the state are aimed at providing quality education for Akwa Ibom children to enable them excel and live their dreams.

Responding to a question from one of the pupils on what it feels like to be a governor, he said it was simply a call to service and a responsibility; and assured them that government was committed to supporting Akwa Ibom children to excel in their different areas of choice.

He commended the school authority for maintaining their educational standard and for choosing to expose the pupils to the workings of government.

Earlier, the team lead, Mrs Uwem Ene, said the visit was basically to expose the pupils to the seat of government as part of their class room learning on civil society.

He appreciated the Governor for granting the visit, as well as the Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, Lady Helen Eno Obareki who took them round the different facilities in the Government House.
