New fuel price. Marketers have made public their desire to purchase petrol from Dangote Refinery. A meeting has been scheduled and there is hope that an agreement can be reached.

Post deregulation, NNPC set the pace by selling PMS to domestic marketers at N971 per litre for sale into ships and at N990 for sale into trucks. Earlier, the President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, said petroleum marketers are ignoring its refinery’s 500 million litres of fuel. Recall that on 9 October 2024, NNPCL had increased its petrol price to N1030 per litre.
