  • I can't for the life of me comprehend the reason why men resent that women also have standards.

Like, just as you don't love yanshless girls, she doesn't love "short kings" either.

You hate fat girls, she'd never consider a knock-kneed boy.

You can't marry a girl in her 30s, and she can't marry a broke guy.

She's not good enough for you to wife up since she lacks the flair and allure of Beyoncé. Well, she likes her men as handsome as Alex Ekubo, and since you don't compare, she won't date, let alone marry you.

You would rather date an independent woman for fear of leeches. She doesn't want to build with any man, but prefers one that is already financially established.

Every social media platform is littered with winding dissertations from men detailing their ideal lady and the attributes they desire from/in her.

They set up these unrealistic goals regardless of their charm and personal achievements which, when considered, are most times harrowingly underwhelming.

They want a natural-haired tall girl with commander hips, who is as submissive as a medieval housemaid and as prayerful as a roadside preacher, and who doesn't mind slaving away for them in name of "wife".

They make such posts and comments every day and laugh about it in real life, yet no one reminds them that they're repulsive-looking and that their choices are out of reality.

But the moment a woman states her preference for a six-packed niggā with a house and a car, and whose face doesn't bring to her memory the images of monkeys during sexx, men would flood the posts with indignant remarks.

    All you'll be seeing is:

    * What guy would marry an uglee girl like you kwanu?
*You want a rich man, but your papa sef no dey rich.
*Is it with this your yanshless self that you're saying you can't date a broke guy?
*You can't date a man in his 40s, but you're looking like someone's grandma.

Why is it so hard for men to accept that woman have standards on the kind of men they want? What makes men feel insecure when a woman lists the wants and doesn't wants she has set for HERSELF regarding the opposite sex?

I mean, I've seen women say they want to date a multimillionaire, and although I'm not a multimillionaire myself, I don't go to the post to fight them over their choices. Standards are nice and normal until a woman has them.

The best thing you'll do for yourself as a woman is to be rude, uncouth and, when necessary, wicked. Strip yourself of shame and set your standards as high as Mountain Everest.

Don't date them if they're poor because they wouldn't date you if you looked like Obasanjo.

P.S.: I noticed that my feminism is not as bitter as I want it to be, so I'm trying to rectify that. Be mindful of your comment as I won't hesitate to use the block button.

  • BUSINESS CANNOT MAKE YOU RICH!

You know a woman in your street, who is selling tomatoes, onions and pepper.

    Well, she is in business.

    But she is not rich.

And she almost will never be.

And you must have heard of a business called ShopRite before.

The owners of that company are in business, and they are rich.

And nothing can stop them from being rich.

What is the difference between the owners of ShopRite and that woman?

Well, there is a lot of difference.

    There's difference in mindset.

The owners of ShopRite has the mindset that their business is supposed to function in many different countries at once.

The woman who sell tomatoes has the mindset that her business is only supposed to remain on that street.

    Then there's difference in strategy.

The owners of ShopRite know that they're supposed to attract kings and queens to their products and services, who pay well.

They go ahead to build beautiful and good looking stores, which is a great fit for kings to come shopping.

    Hence, they are well paid.

The woman who sells tomatoes and onions by the street has no strategy for attracting kings.

All her strategy is being used to attract local people and villagers, hence she does business in a dirty and probably old place.

Even if kings came to her, due to the nature of how she present herself and her business, the kings will not value her.

Then, there is branding and marketing difference.

The owners of ShopRite pay good amounts of money to be in the public media.

They get on TV, radio, newspaper, Facebook, etc.

They understand the importance of the media side of business, and how creating a massive brand awareness can work to their favour.

The woman selling tomatoes doesn't know any of that.

She knows nothing about marketing and branding, and simply hopes the people in her locality will notice her enough to buy.

Hence, the only publicity her business gets is the publicity of have passersby look at the wares she displayed.

She is in business, just like the owners of ShopRite, but she cannot be rich like them.

    Why?

Because business cannot make you rich in itself.

It is the mindset, strategy, and publicity, of the business, plus the volumes of financial numbers it does, that makes you rich.

  • GOV ENO TASKS A'IBOM CHILDREN ON HARD WORK, FAITH IN GOD

... Donates N10m to award winning Akwa Ibom child

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has tasked children across the State to imbibe the spirit of hard work and faith in God to enable them attain greatness in life.

Addressing pupils of Pegasus School, Eket, who were on excursion to Government House, Uyo, he said though it was unusual to attend to other engagements on days billed for State Executive Council meetings, he decided to create time for the children to inspire them for greatness.

He recalled the story of a 16-year-old Bill Clinton in the summer of 1963, who met with President John F. Kennedy, got inspired to pursue a life in public service, and eventually became the 42nd president of the United States in 1993.

The Governor said attaining greatness is not accidental or automatic, but requires dints of hard work and the God factor, and advised the children to take their studies very seriously.

He said Pegasus School has a reputation for its quality education, and commended a pupil of the school, Henry Ndudu Ekong, who won the Interswitch school competition with an accompanied N15 Million University Scholarship.

Governor Eno who was delighted by Ndudu's academic excellence, also supported his University education with another N10 million.

He noted that the model primary schools and the planned three model secondary schools with state -of - the - art boarding facilities accross the state are aimed at providing quality education for Akwa Ibom children to enable them excel and live their dreams.

Responding to a question from one of the pupils on what it feels like to be a governor, he said it was simply a call to service and a responsibility; and assured them that government was committed to supporting Akwa Ibom children to excel in their different areas of choice.

He commended the school authority for maintaining their educational standard and for choosing to expose the pupils to the workings of government.

Earlier, the team lead, Mrs Uwem Ene, said the visit was basically to expose the pupils to the seat of government as part of their class room learning on civil society.

He appreciated the Governor for granting the visit, as well as the Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, Lady Helen Eno Obareki who took them round the different facilities in the Government House.

  • NEWLY SWORN-IN COMMISSIONERS IN AKWA IBOM STATE.

FEBRUARY 24TH, 2025 – BANQUET HALL, GOVERNMENT HOUSE, UYO

    PROTOCOL:
    1. Let me, on behalf of the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State, congratulate the newly sworn-in Commissioners/Special Advisers, who are now members of the State Executive Council.

Again, let me send my special thanks and appreciation to the Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Udeme Otong, and the Honourable members for the speedy screening and clearance of the then nominees, who are now our brand-new Honourable Commissioners.

    2. Permit me to also use this opportunity to express our profound gratitude once again to the members of the immediate past Executive Council for their service to the State.

You came, you did your part, and we will remain eternally grateful for your contributions to the development of our State.

    3. To the newly sworn-in Commissioners, you have been privileged to be selected out of the 7.9 million people of this blessed State to provide service to your State.

Let me again reemphasize that your selection was the sole prerogative of the Governor, and this was based primarily on your proven capacities and ability to get the job done—not on ethnic or primordial considerations.

Your loyalty, therefore, is to the Governor and to the State.

    4. This EXCO can be rightly referred to as: THE EXCO OF CONSOLIDATION AND EXPANSION – a Joseph’s Team. Like Joseph, you have been handed a vision as contained in our Arise Agenda.

You are to work collaboratively to interpret and deliver on those key planks of our governance blueprint for the betterment of our people and State.

Teamwork, unity, and passion are the ingredients we require from you.

    5. In 2 Kings 4:38–41, the power of working together and looking out for the mistakes of others, so the common good and fidelity to causes higher than ours can be achieved, is again illustrated.

A near-fatal error by way of accidental poisoning of the meal prepared for collective consumption by one of the sons of the prophet was discovered.

Prophet Elisha, showing strong leadership and team spirit, found a solution to what could have been a fatal meal by adding flour to the poisoned meal.

That singular solution restored the meal and the lives of the prophets, and the collective good was achieved.

    6. The above biblical story illustrates what the spiritual and psychological underpinnings of this EXCO are all about.

This EXCO, therefore, must be shaped by love, teamwork, unity of purpose, and the spirit of oneness—carrying each other along as partners rather than adversaries and being very observant so that we do not allow one person to destroy collective attainment.

    7. You are to look for solutions and not engage in blame games while also working to tighten weak links and encourage deeper team spirit for the overall success of the team.

    8. We have a blueprint, the ARISE Agenda, which in concrete and precise layers contains our dream for the development of our State.

Your role, like Joseph, is to help further interpret the dream and vision by working collaboratively to prepare our State and people for years of continuous economic growth and prosperity.

  • Chapter 1: The Gift of the Runes
The arrival of the angels was not with thunder or fire, but with a soft, golden light that bathed the land. They came bearing gifts—magical markings etched into stone, bone, and wood. These were the runes, symbols of power and wisdom, each one imbued with the essence of creation itself.

The runes were not mere tools; they were a language, a connection between the mortal and the divine. With them, humanity could shape the world around them. They could call forth water from dry earth, summon winds to fill their sails, and heal wounds with a touch. The runes were a blessing, a way for the angels to share their love and guidance with the people they cherished.

For generations, the runes were passed down through bloodlines, from parent to child, a sacred inheritance. Those who bore the runes were revered as guardians, healers, and leaders. They used their gifts to build thriving communities, to nurture the land, and to protect their people from harm.

But not all was as it seemed.

    1. Level Up Your Value

A man who’s constantly improving himself is irresistible.

Hit the gym, chase your goals, and stack your money. When you’re climbing the ladder of success, she’ll be desperate to climb with you.

Weakness is a choice; strength is a decision.

    2. Be Mysterious

Don’t lay all your cards on the table, bro. Keep her guessing. The less she knows, the more she’ll crave to figure you out.

    Mystery is magnetic.

Simps overshare; strong men keep their power.

    3. Control Your Attention

Stop giving her unlimited access to you. Attention is your most valuable resource, treat it like gold.

The less you give, the more she’ll want it. Don’t be the guy who’s always available.

    Step up or step aside.

    4. Master the Power of Silence

Sometimes, saying nothing is more powerful than words. When she expects a reaction, give her calm indifference.

It’ll drive her crazy trying to figure out what you’re thinking. Stay sharp, silence is a weapon.

    5. Pass Her Tests Without Flinching

Women will test you to see if you’re the real deal.

Don’t get emotional, don’t overreact. Laugh it off, stay confident, and pass every test she throws your way.

Let the truth be told: Simps fail, kings conquer.

    6. Walk Away When Necessary

The ultimate power move? Walking away.

When she knows you’re willing to leave if she disrespects you, she’ll fight to keep you.

If you disappoint, you’ll appear before the council of brotherhood, don’t let that happen.

    7. Build Social Proof

When other women admire you, she’ll want you even more. It’s brutal, but women compete.

Be the man other women notice, and she’ll chase you just to prove she’s worthy.

    8. Flirt Without Commitment

Flirt to build tension, but don’t rush to lock it down.
