    An Abuja based lady, Nka Jess Nka, who was abducted by kidnappers, has narrated her ordeal after regaining her freedom.



    Jess was abducted along with her aunt and other victims last year.



    In a Facebook post on Friday, February 21, 2025, she recalled how the kidnappers k!lled her aunt in her presence.

    "My heart is full of pain today because today is the day that you were k!lled auntie, right in front of me, I'm here typing and wishing I had the power to protect you from those heartless kidnappers but it is beyond my power," she wrote.

    “I wish it is something I could fight to win but is beyond just a fight. Keep resting. To anyone that is hands is involved in our kidnapping, they will never go unpunished. God will fight for our family and bring healing to our hearts thou is not easy, I miss you greatly dear auntie, hmmmmmmmm life. It's well.”



    In an initial Facebook post on January 30, 2025, she shared photos taken after regaining her freedom and wrote.



    “Lord I'm here to thank you for showing me mercy, thank you for keeping me alive , I want to also thank everyone of you for ur prayers and support during the time of my kidnapped. I didn't take it for granted, is a year now, thank God for my freedom, waking up today in my bed is a testimony and to my aunty that couldn't make it alive I'm in tears every now and den ,I miss her greatly.”

  • This lady Serah Madu is missing with her twin babies

    Since Thursday 30th of January till this point no one has heard from her and her line has been off

    According to her sister who reached out to Vera onyekwere foundation explained how she came on a Thursday morning with her twin babies around 10:00am and told the mum that someone called her for a sales girl work that she should hold one of the baby for her while she go to the place she was called but didn’t tell her mum the place.

    She step out and came back few minutes later and told the mum to hand over the second baby that she doesn’t know when she might come back because of breast milk and the baby feeling hungry, they just clocked one year this January

    The mum asked her how she’s going to cope with being a sales girl with twins she said “ what would she do , at least let her support the family “. She left and from that Thursday being 30th of January no one has heard anything about her

    The attack occurred on Tuesday January 14, 2025, barely two days after the terrorist had invaded another chibok village called bamzir where they killed two people and burnt a church.
    "A victim whose house was set ablaze, Mallam Daniel shikarkir said his parents and more of the villagers escaped unhurt before their arrival due to such incident wreaked havoc in the neighboring villages and displaced the whole community, now talking most of the refuge or idp are place in safer location,like mbalala, ngorkoli, and chibok town", he said. The latest attack on njiland and shikarkir were worrisome, despite the presence of over 1000 soldiers and 500 vigilante in chibok town and yet this attack have been able to occur.
    More needs to be done to ensure the safety and security of our LGA, (chibok)
    Chibok needs adequate protection for it's people's and communities, because the people inside it are not more safe.
