• Dear Anambra Youth,

I'm writing to address a crucial matter concerning our state's future. As you may know, Valentine Chineto Ozigbo, a prominent figure in Anambra politics, left the Labour Party to join the APC. This move has raised concerns among many of us who believe in the Labour Party's vision for a better Anambra.

As young people, we have the power to shape our state's destiny. We cannot afford to sit on the fence while our future is being decided. I urge you all to join me in calling on Valentine Ozigbo to return to the Labour Party. His leadership and experience are needed in a party that truly cares about the welfare of Anambra people ¹.

If Ozigbo refuses to return to the Labour Party, I'm afraid we may have to reconsider our support for him. As young people, we cannot compromise on our values and principles. We deserve a leader who shares our vision for a prosperous and equitable Anambra.

Let's make our voices heard and demand that Ozigbo returns to the Labour Party. Together, we can build a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.

    Sincerely,
    [Hon. Uzoghelu John clement okwudili

*A PROSE OF AN OBSERVER ABOUT IBB BOOK LAUNCH*

I have always said that if you stay alive long enough in Nigeria you will see devil exhumed from the grave and deoderised by Nigerians.

IBB's book launch presented a perfect platform for such occasion.

OBJ was there. Taking notes for his next book.

GEJ was present. Looking clueless and neither here nor there as usual

Gowon as usual dwelt on inanities.

He eulogised IBB for restoring his rank yet unlike IBB is not bold enough to write his own book.

Perhaps, Gowon is also waiting for his contemporaries to die before lying over their graves like IBB.

and of course Bobo Chicago who claimed to fight for democracy but the current face of tyranny, evil and undemocratic practices was also there.

The people who betrayed Abiola and urged him to Golgotha were there shining their rotten teeth in the glistening light.

The picture represents the perfect problem with Nigeria.

These were men who contributed in the ruination of a country.

Nobody has bad word for IBB.

Given time, he has transformed into the perfect General.

He has become a hero and maker of men.

But give to IBB, as a military leader he understood evil craftsmanship.

He has dealt with rotten idiots who paraded themselves as Democrats so the audience before him were very familiar.

    One vital question.

How did a man who did everything to destroy democracy suddenly became the beacon of democracy in Nigeria, to the extent that aspiring leaders visit his Minna Mecca to receive tutelage on leadership?

There were also billionaires like Arthur Eze who is at best a nuisance in Igboland.

There were Alakija. She was gifted with oil wells.

    There was Dangote etc.

They all had good things to say about IBB.

    No mention of Dele Giwa.

An unsung hero in a useless country.

Moshood Abiola at least got 1 day named after him each year.

That was enough price for dying for Nigeria and ruining his family and business.

After all IBB was his dear friend.

The billionaires claimed IBB made them.

Thus, they rewarded him with about 16 billion naira for his library project.

    Laughable!

All the Nigerian dictators own libraries.

    They gave back to him.

IBB was a maker of men.

By the way, Abacha also made some men.

When will they stand up and speak for him or probably build a library for him?

Buhari also made some men during his 8 years democratic dictatorship.

He will likely receive his flowers and a library named after him.

The Emilokrook made some men also as Lagos State Governor.

We recall he rebuilt the house of our Prof Wole Soyinka who was so poor he couldn't afford to rebuild his house.

In future the crooks he made will donate to his library.

So YOU, where exactly are you in the scheme of things as a Nigerian?

Your reward is poverty, hunger, unemployment, disease, homelessness, japa then heaven.

I can only take one positive thing from the meeting.

He took responsibility by admitting for the first time, that his friend, Abiola won the June 12 election.

Sadly again, and deliberately not for forgetfulness, Humphrey Nwosu, the electoral umpire during June 12 who was brave to announce most of the results against military directive wasn't mentioned.

Folks like Humphrey Nwosu doesn't fit the Nigerian optics.

He was a gatecrasher to uncommon destiny.

He lived in a wrong country among unclean people.

He became part of the collateral damage.

    An unsung hero.

As IBB admitted to Abiola's victory, 33 years after, I look forward to the day the dark Professor, Mahmood will develop the manhood to confess openly to Peter Obi that he rigged the 2023 election to favour the Chicago drug baron.

I once said that even if devil appears physically in Nigeria that he would receive massive supporters.

Nigeria is the seat of evil.

    It is a crime scene.

It's not habitable for human beings.

Living in Nigeria for far too long is capable of turning a saint to a devil.

I am yet to see an African country were evil is celebrated and bad character rewarded such as Nigeria by Nigerians.

It is one country I can tell you for sure that it cannot be redeemed.

A country populated by religious maggots who spend billions of naira to visit Mecca and Israel yet return to Nigeria as agents of Satan to ruin their people.

    IBB is evil.

But those who came after him were undiluted devils.

  • The first Time Hubby invited me to his family house to come see his mum and siblings… I said na like this the thing Dey be … I kept postponing the invitation telling him am not ready to see them

then I asked him .. can’t we just marry like that without seeing your people they will come for the wedding naa … Uche ndi Private life Madonna University

My thought then was very plenty .. what if they don’t like me now .. like this you no go marry me again ???

What if there is another person they wanted for him and am here coming to show myself …

What if immediately I come .. they all enter one room and start doing Muchu Muchu

Which cloth will I wear … ( I had lots of cloth in my wardrobe ooo .. but at the Mention of coming to see the family .. all my clothes vanished

I had so many what if in my heart and was so skeptical about their validation .. but guess what all this thought vanished with this few point I noted down here

    1) Just be your self : Don’t be too Nervous as whether they will like you or not cos most times the devil capitalizes on our thought and emotions. And you see yourself been overwhelmed with Negative thoughts.. A lady told me that a day to the day she was to go see her hubby’s family .. so many negative thoughts about them not accepting her … she said her mistakes was not praying over it .. and when she got there .. exactly the way she thought about it .. it happened.. though she is not married into the family .. but only God knows the best Maybe for her Good ..

    2) Don’t over dress .. cos you might end up meeting lesser expectations of what you opted for .. if you love casual.. just make it clean and neat, if you love native, English wear etc .. just make it simple and nice wear a nice perfume.. not choking Hazards that will saturate the room ..

    3) Don’t Go to show yourself so much on the first day : you want to sweep the house that day, you want to cook that day, you want to mop that day, you want to do certainly everything that day .. sis calm down is just the first day .. help with the little you can .. they might stand up to assist you or tell you not to worry ..

Mine was after eating cos they prepared delicious meal for me .. my mother in-law can cook .. she na chef all the way ..
That day after eating I stood up to carry the plate to the kitchen.. hubby allowed me to take the tray to the kitchen .. maybe to allow me proof a good wife to be for his mum .. but 2 mins later I Didt come out .. he came to the kitchen and saw me bringing out the plate to wash … the next thing he just clapped 3 times then called me Ezigbo Mmadu ( you can demonstrate this I just said like kpa kpa kpa .. Ezigbo mmadu ) keep that plate let’s go inside .. I said No naa Allow me let me wash it .. in my mind I no wan wash am ooo but as a good girl naa I can’t just keep the plate like that … I just washed my hands fast fast.. before he will now change his mind and tell me to wash it .. to test if am wife material .. we came back to the parlor ..and continued our discussion..

    4) Dominating the conversation: Be a good listener and give others a chance to share their thoughts and stories. I love you love talking .. but at this point can you just hear what they have to say … May be you will hear their mind from there

    5) Be Sensitive: whatever you dont like is more reasons when you come back you say No .. A lady told me that on her first visit to her husband to be family house .. the first mud house she met at the gate was shrine with Bl00d spills .. just the sight of that alone told her .. she can’t Marry this man .. and that’s how the relationship ended she said she can’t start fighting battles her family abolished long ago .. she left ..

Being late: Be punctual and arrive on time for your visit. If you say you are coming by 12 .. latest 12:30 you don’t keep people waiting and you expect them to start smiling with you when you arrive by 2 or by 4 .. you ve certainly kpaid the vibes…

    Advice to the Man

Then As a man, you are the one from the family. You have a Role to play .. you don’t just invite your wife to be to your family house .. then you allow her to face your family in fears …

Protect her from unnecessary questioning and jokes .. Your wife should not come in and become another younger sister. Let her be your wife, the extension of another family.

There are things your wife to be should not be subjected to before marriage.

When she becomes your wife, she will naturally gravitate toward it.

    The lord bless your Marriage
    Your marriage will succeed

  • Sometime last year, this woman that I know to a large extent was passing my restaurant with a man. She saw me, stopped and was dragging the man playfully that he should come let them eat at my place, that my food is nice. (she laughs a lot and is very free by nature)
This man rebuffed her like a child saying, paraphrased “na anywhere you see you go wan enter? If you no fit hold yourself, dey go, you go meet me for house” I wish I was making this post as a video, maybe I would be able to explain with the actual demonstration and face expression on this man’s face. You would think he’s talking to a five year old.
I felt embarrassed for her, and a little bad that they didn’t come to eat that day, but I shrugged it off. She on the other hand just stylishly said they will come another time, while laughing and placing her hand on his shoulder as they walked away.

    ***
For context, she’s a single mother. Her husband died years ago, so I believe this is a new relationship as I’ve not seen her with any man till that day.

I had to bring up the above 👆🏻 in order for you to understand better my experience day before yesterday’s night.

So on Tuesday Night, this lady and the man walked into my restaurant. They asked what I had and I told them. Then the man asked the lady to choose for him. She chose Native soup. Next thing this man said something in Igbo (of course not knowing I’m Igbo) which is weird cos the name of my restaurant would give anyone an idea. He said “do these people know how to cook soup, let alone native soup. That who knows how it will even taste. That it’s not to decorate a place that is the issue, but for the food to have taste, not this nonsense they cook” I don’t even know what he meant by “they” or where he assumed I was from.
And the way he said this, very very condescending! The woman started telling him in hush tone that he shouldn’t have said that. He should have waited to taste the food first.

I ignored and simply told them the price of food plus that they will have to pay before I serve. He started ranting again. That why would he pay for something he hasn’t seen, then asking the lady if that’s how we do here. The lady gave me sign of “I should please serve and not worry” I could tell she was embarrassed and being that I know her to her house, I made an exception.

I served them food. I had actually thought it was the lady who was eating so I placed it before her. They eyes he gave me eh. The lady just moved the tray to him and now said she wanted pepper soup and malt. He angrily told her to eat what he’s eating. She argued that it’s late and she doesn’t want to eat fufu at night. He then told her to starve then as he’s not buying anything else.
    All these transpired in Igbo.

Dear God, was I boiling inside 🤦🏼‍♀️
But I kept my cool of course. I’ve had my share of very rude customers, just that I was feeling for the lady. She had no choice than to join him to eat.
When it was time to pay, he started complaining about the price. How he won’t come back if I don’t give him discount (remember I made the price known from onset o)
When he saw I wasn’t responding, he brought out cash. I stood up to collect it, he took it back. Said he would transfer, I called account for him, it didn’t go through. He started telling the lady to pay, she said she wasn’t with cash and didn’t bring her phone.
He said he needed to use the cash and couldn’t give it to me. Omo eh…
Eventually, he gave me the cash as he didn’t see any other way forward.
The lady told me thank you in Igbo and that I am doing well. I responded in Igbo too and he then said “so she’s Igbo and acting like oyibo” The way he even refers to me like I’m not there is what’s funny.

What brought about this post is that when they were leaving, the woman came back to apologize. Telling me I shouldn’t mind him and all he did, that it’s how he is. I then asked “why be with someone who constantly disrespects and embarrasses you, especially in public” she said it’s cos he’s trying financially. That he just paid all her children’s school fees, so the load has been lifted off of her a little. I told her it’s well as she joyfully left. Like this lady is so full of joy and laughter that I don’t feel she deserves him. But who am I to have a say. He’s probably great in many other areas I’m not seeing so I wish them well.

#myrestaurauntseries #portharcourtfoodvendor #ofeakwuboss
