  • Nike’s decision to eliminate individual product categories — who could marshal exactly this kind of expertise — in favor of a generic one-size-fits-all data model created a problem that you can probably predict. This model performed the equivalent of handing out flyers for your pizza shop in the pizza shop’s lobby and signaled the business to reorganize from attracting new customers to pumping more money out of the customers they already had.

  • The Broken Bird: Part Seven

Luna's sanctuary became a legend, attracting creatures from far and wide. One day, a young bird named Skye arrived, carrying a small, broken winged bird.

"Please, Luna, help my friend," Skye begged.

Luna examined the bird, recognizing the same brokenness she once knew.

"I'll care for your friend," Luna promised, "but first, tell me their story."

Skye shared the bird's tale: "She was once a magnificent flyer, but a brutal storm shattered her wings. She's lost her will to live."

Luna's heart resonated with the bird's pain. She remembered Aria's wisdom:

"Brokenness is not something to be fixed,
    but something to be cherished."

Luna cradled the bird, whispering, "Your brokenness is precious. Don't try to fly; spread your wings to embrace, to comfort, and to heal."

Slowly, the bird's eyes brightened. She began to help Luna care for the sanctuary, finding purpose in her brokenness.

As time passed, the bird's wings transformed, becoming a symbol of hope, just like Luna's.

Skye returned, amazed by the transformation. "How did you heal her?"

Luna smiled. "I showed her that brokenness is not weakness, but strength. She learned to shelter, to heal, and to inspire."

The bird, now named Willow, thanked Luna. "You helped me find my true wings."

    Luna's legacy continued, inspiring generations:

    "Embrace your brokenness,
    for it holds the power
    to transform, to heal,
and to soar in new ways."

And so, the sanctuary flourished, a testament to the beauty of brokenness, where creatures found refuge, hope, and new wings to rise.

  • One of the annoying thing that can happen to a creative is to be hopeful to get design jobs and unfortunately, the design jobs that come his or her way are the ones that they are not grounded in.

By this time last year, I was in desperate need of design jobs. Prior to that period, all the designs that I executed were flyer designs.

Unfortunately for me, the design jobs that I got from clients were mostly logo designs. I knew I wasn't grounded in it and that was how I lost those jobs.

It was after that unfortunate experience that I became intentional about honing my logo design skill which I was able to achieve after taking a course on Adobe Illustrator.

Today, I don't shy away from logo designs anymore. As a matter of fact, I love it when my clients request for logo designs.

If you have missed out on logo design jobs because you weren't competent to handle them, here is the perfect opportunity for you to gain mastery in logo designs.

My Branding Masterclass with Adobe Illustrator training will expose you into the world of logo creation. It will also equip you with the expertise needed to create functional and timeless brand identity designs.

To enroll for the training, check in the comment section for further details.
