  • Here’s an inspiring life story:

From Struggles to Success: The Story of James Anderson

James Anderson grew up in a small town where opportunities were scarce. His family struggled financially, and he often had to work odd jobs just to help make ends meet. Despite the hardships, James had a dream—to build his own business and create a better future.

At 18, he started a small online store with just $200 he had saved from working late nights. He faced failures, rejection, and even moments where he almost gave up. But James refused to let his circumstances define him. He kept learning, adapting, and pushing forward.

Years later, his business took off. Today, he’s the CEO of a multi-million-dollar company that not only provides for his family but also creates jobs for hundreds of people. James often says, "Success isn’t about where you start; it’s about how determined you are to keep moving forward."

His journey reminds us that persistence, hard work, and belief in yourself can change your life, no matter how difficult things seem.

  • Yesterday, I flagged off the construction of two major road projects: the 10.9km Use Ikot Amama Road with two bridges in Ibiono Ibom and the 21.5km Ikot Anyan Ediene Road with a 60m span bridge in Ikono. These roads will improve connectivity, boost economic activities, and enhance transportation in our state. I have tasked Setraco Limited with delivering a high-quality project that meets the best standards.

Road infrastructure is a key driver of development, and we remain committed to linking every part of Akwa Ibom with a solid road network. I appreciate the support of Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio and the people of Ibiono Ibom and Ikono for believing in our administration. Our investment in infrastructure and agribusiness is for the people, and we will continue to implement projects that improve lives.

I also commend the youths for their cooperation with contractors and encourage them to protect public infrastructure for the benefit of all. Development must reach every community, and I assure you that we will extend street lighting projects beyond Uyo to brighten and secure more areas. Together, let’s build a greater Akwa Ibom! @

  • A divorced friend remarried 2 months ago, I heard from her younger sister that her ex husband was very vexed about it. That why wasn't he informed before she remarried...he even threw small drama at the family.

Thank God, she was wise enough to leave his son with her mother, despite her new husband's pleas to bring him, she refused. The ex husband would had used the son to create bigger drama.

Her ex husband swore no one will ever marry her again, he destroyed her name and she had some challenges remarrying, once he knew she's dating, he'll find a way to manipulate the suitors mind, she had lost two suitors because of him. But this one came as a surprise to him, because she kept the relationship hidden even from some family and friends.

What pissed him more was when he learnt she married as a first wife, her present husband was never married,he married her like a New bride not bazawara(divorced woman)and all the things her ex husband denied her, she's enjoying it in her present marriage. Her present husband enrolled her in a school and also established a small business for her. That support she didn't have in her first marriage, she's getting it in her second.

I learnt from her story that
*When it's your time, nothing can stop it. What is meant for you will always be for you.
*To keep a low profile with relationships especially when you have enemies around you, waiting to shame you.
*A failed marriage is never the end, being a single mum won't stop you from finding love again.
*No matter the lies and rumors about you, stay true to yourself, God see's your heart, someone befitting of you will see you for who you truly are.
*If that man won't value you, another man will.
    * Not all men are same, some may break you, some will build you. There are good men out there too.

    Life is unpredictable.
