  • Dear Anambra Youth,

I'm writing to address a crucial matter concerning our state's future. As you may know, Valentine Chineto Ozigbo, a prominent figure in Anambra politics, left the Labour Party to join the APC. This move has raised concerns among many of us who believe in the Labour Party's vision for a better Anambra.

As young people, we have the power to shape our state's destiny. We cannot afford to sit on the fence while our future is being decided. I urge you all to join me in calling on Valentine Ozigbo to return to the Labour Party. His leadership and experience are needed in a party that truly cares about the welfare of Anambra people ¹.

If Ozigbo refuses to return to the Labour Party, I'm afraid we may have to reconsider our support for him. As young people, we cannot compromise on our values and principles. We deserve a leader who shares our vision for a prosperous and equitable Anambra.

Let's make our voices heard and demand that Ozigbo returns to the Labour Party. Together, we can build a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.

    Sincerely,
    [Hon. Uzoghelu John clement okwudili

    Tracking and Planning
    1. _50/30/20 Rule_: Allocate 50% of your income towards necessities, 30% towards discretionary spending, and 20% towards saving and debt repayment.
    2. _Budgeting Apps_: Utilize apps like Mint, You Need a Budget (YNAB), or Personal Capital to track your expenses and stay on top of your finances.
    3. _Expense Journal_: Keep a physical or digital journal to record every purchase, no matter how small.

    Reducing Expenses
    1. _Cut Subscription Services_: Review your subscription services (e.g., streaming platforms, gym memberships, software) and cancel any unused or unnecessary ones.
    2. _Cook at Home_: Cooking meals at home can save you up to 50% on food expenses compared to eating out.
    3. _Cancel Credit Card Annual Fees_: If you don't use the benefits associated with your credit card's annual fee, consider canceling or downgrading to a lower-fee card.

    Saving Money
    1. _Automate Savings_: Set up automatic transfers from your checking account to your savings or investment accounts.
    2. _Take Advantage of Employer Matching_: Contribute enough to your 401(k) or other retirement accounts to maximize employer matching.
    3. _Use Cashback and Rewards_: Use cashback credit cards, sign up for rewards programs, and take advantage of sales to earn money back or accumulate points.

    Smart Shopping
    1. _Compare Prices_: Research and compare prices before making a purchase to ensure you're getting the best deal.
    2. _Use Coupons and Discounts_: Take advantage of coupons, discounts, and promo codes offered by stores, websites, and apps.
    3. _Buy in Bulk_: Purchasing items in bulk can save you money in the long run, especially for non-perishable items.

    Debt Repayment
    1. _Snowball Method_: Pay off debts with the smallest balances first, while making minimum payments on larger debts.
    2. _Avalanche Method_: Focus on paying off debts with the highest interest rates first, while making minimum payments on other debts.
    3. _Consolidate Debt_: Consider consolidating multiple debts into a single, lower-interest loan or credit card.

    Long-Term Savings
    1. _Emergency Fund_: Build an easily accessible savings fund to cover 3-6 months of living expenses in case of unexpected events.
    2. _Retirement Savings_: Contribute to a retirement account, such as a 401(k) or IRA, to build a nest egg for your future.
    3. _Invest Wisely_: Invest in a diversified portfolio of low-cost index funds or ETFs to grow your wealth over time.

Remember, saving money is a long-term process. Start with small changes and gradually work your way up to achieve your financial goals!

  • In secondary school, we say "Obey before complain". Once a student started explanation without complying, no one would listen to you. If police stops you by the road, you will stop wether you carry anything incriminating or not. I wish Madam Nat would have relocated to the New Seat and stand up to the Senate President from her lawfully re-allocated seat. It would have been better.

It's obvious the outburst is from previously accumulated grievances but, you have to fight people from the position of law. It appeared the SP has began the silent treatment of not recognising her which may be irritating. Notwithstanding, diplomacy will solve the issue. Senator Ireti, the senator representing FCT was also complaining of not been recognised few months ago when she was fighting Wike on TV and on Media. It's not new. A leader is a leader. They are all senator but, SP is the leader. Outright disrespect and fingers pointing may not end well.

In the beginning of the red chamber career, Madam Nat was SP favourite. I envied her relationship with him by then. She was named chairman, committee on local content. She was elected as a member of ECOWAS parliament. She was always accompanying SP and his Deputy on foreign trips. You can hardly see Madam pictures by then without SP. A lot must have happened that break their relationship and got aggravated by night club comments.

I will prefer a smooth relationship between her and SP than confrontation. A smooth relationship will help her and her Constituency than confrontation. She has bill to sponsor and she will need the cooperation of the leadership. Democracy is not an easy feat anywhere.

Some people says "That's Ebira blood". Well, as lovely as it may sound, I don't think it will benefit us. If I see Madam, I will tell her face to face to relax a bit. You can tame a lion to be your friend and it's not by fight. She should use her feminine attitude to get SP in her bag. A calm voice solve a thousand grievances before a raging voice will solve one

Courtesy DS Ømêizá for this wonderful write up & compliment of the season, me I decided to keep mute over this matter before some folks tag me I don't like her before but this is simple truth

    Observe How They Handle Pressure:

    Don’t Ignore Red Flags:

    Prioritize Emotional and Spiritual Compatibility:

    Discuss Finances Before Marriage:
Money issues are a leading cause of marital conflict. Be open about your financial habits, debts, and future goals. Agree on how you will manage finances together. Do you want Joint accounts or not, how will you share financial responsibility and who will manage the finance of the home?

    Listen to Wise Counsel:
Seek advice from happily married couples, mentors, or spiritual leaders. They can help you identify potential challenges and guide you in making the right decision.

    Pray and Trust God’s Timing:
Marriage is too important to be rushed. Pray for discernment and trust that God will bring the right person into your life at the right time.
