After a very long hiatus, the producers of Wúrà finally listened to our pleas and released the final and third season. The first episode is now available on Showmax.
They kept us waiting for too long, man. I almost lost interest. No be their fault sha, na me dey find the downfall of Wúrà
The new season picked up where it left off, with the whole town buzzing in preparation for Tumi's wedding.
Maami who was initially insisting that Tumi wear her "expensive 8k wedding gown", finally gave in, and was full of praise when she saw her daughter dazzling in the gown she'd chosen. Ego's portrayal of an overly religious, old-fashioned mother is topnotch, I must say.
Meanwhile, the ever promiscuous groom-to-be, Jeje, decided to have one last night out with the boys at the club, where he got seduced by his ex. I actually hope he gets into tr0uble and the wedding is called off!
The episode ended with a cliffhanger : the real father of Dimeji's supposed son, Jamal, showed up when Dimeji, was having a family time with his wife and son. Ghen-ghen-ghen. I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm afraid Dimeji is in for another web of lies. And the boy fit fall for am. Na mumu for love
I'm completely hoked on Wúrà sha. It's the most engaging Nigerian series I've seen in a while.
Are you following too? What episode did you stop?
