  • This is probably the best answer l've ever heard to the question, "Why did God create evil?"
    READ THIS...

Why did God create evil? The answer struck me to the core of my soul!

A professor at the university asked his students the following question:

    - Everything that exists was created by God?
    One student bravely answered:
    - Yes, created by God.
    - Did God create everything? - a professor asked.
    "Yes, sir," replied the student.

    The professor asked :

    - If God created everything, then God created evil, since it exists. And according to the principle that our deeds define ourselves, then God is evil.

The student became silent after hearing such an answer. The professor was very pleased with himself. He boasted to students for proving once again that faith in God is a myth.

Another student raised his hand and said:

    - Can I ask you a question, professor?
    "Of course," replied the professor.
A student got up and asked:
    - Professor, is cold a thing?
    - What kind of question? Of course it exists. Have you ever been cold?
Students laughed at the young man's question. The young man answered:

    - Actually, sir, cold doesn't exist.
According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is actually the absence of heat. A person or object can be studied on whether it has or transmits energy.
    Absolute zero (-460 degrees
Fahrenheit) is a complete absence of heat. All matter becomes inert and unable to react at this temperature.

Cold does not exist. We created this word to describe what we feel in the absence of heat.

    A student continued:
    - Professor, does darkness exist?
    — Of course it exists.
    - You're wrong again, sir. Darkness also does not exist. Darkness is actually the absence of light. We can study the light but not the darkness.
We can use Newton's prism to spread white light across multiple colors and explore the different wavelengths of each color. You can't measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into the world of darkness and and illuminate it. How can you tell how dark a certain space is? You measure how much light is presented. Isn't it so? Darkness is a term man uses to describe what happens in the absence of light.

In the end, the young man asked the professor:
    - Sir. does evil exist?
This time it was uncertain, the professor answered:
    - Of course, as I said before. We see him every day. Cruelty, numerous crimes and violence throughout the world. These examples are nothing but a manifestation of evil.

    To this, the student answered:
    - Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist for itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is like darkness and cold—a man-made word to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not faith or love, which exist as light and warmth. Evil is the result of the absence of Divine love in the human heart. It's the kind of cold that comes when there is no heat, or the kind of darkness that comes when there's no light.

The student's name was Albert Einstein.

    *LOVE NOT THE WORLD*

    Wednesday, October 30th .
    Pastor Chris

_*And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice (1 Kings 11:9).*_

Though Solomon was a great king and the wisest man that ever lived before Jesus, he didn’t quite live His entire life pleasing the Lord. The Bible says he loved many “strange women” and followed their gods. He brought them from nations where God already forbade the children of Israel to marry from.

In 1 Kings 11:2, God said, _*“...Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods....”*_ But the concluding part of that verse says, _*“...Solomon clave unto these in love.”*_ As a result, the Lord wasn’t pleased with him. Some Christians are that way today. Their closest friends and associates are people of the world. Like Solomon, they cleave to the wrong people and to the wrong associations for the wrong reasons.

Some of them keep these friendships because they help to make them become socially famous or popular. But the Bible says, _*“…know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God”*_ (James 4:4). 1 John 2:15 says, _*“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”*_

Solomon chose to become a socially famous king. Read about him; after God’s second appearance to him, there’s no record of him praying anywhere in the Scriptures. Instead, everything associated with him was social. He was in one meeting or the other, receiving visitors, and attending parties, but no meetings with the Lord.

You have to understand that the people you associate with will become the standard for the things that take your time. These include your interests and the things you love. God said to the children of Israel, _*“…for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods...”*_ (1 Kings 11:2). Don’t say, “I know myself; they can’t influence me”; rather, simply heed God’s admonition. He already said concerning unwholesome associations, _*“…come out from among them, and be ye separate…”*_ (2 Corinthians 6:17). God knows better than you do. If He tells you the result of taking an action, trust that He’s right and follow His Word.

    *CONFESSION*

*I’m discerning in my relationships and guided by the wisdom of God to fraternize only with those who honour the Lord and His Word and have reverence for the things of the Spirit. I prioritize fellowship with the Lord above everything else and set my heart on the glory and realities of the Kingdom. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* ** *1 John 2:15 NIV* Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. **

** *1 Corinthians 15:33* Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. **

** *2 Corinthians 6:14-18* Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. **

  • Echoes of the End

In the hidden valley town of Eldridge, everyone knew of the legend—the tale of "The End." According to whispers and worn records, every fifty years, a curse would descend upon the town. For seven nights, one person would vanish, taken by something that dwelled in the shadows. And when the seventh night was over, "The End" would claim one final soul before leaving the town in silence...until its return.

As the fifty-year mark approached, the townsfolk became anxious. Most boarded up their homes, clinging to their loved ones, desperate to wait out the cursed week. But Tom, a young man who’d grown up in Eldridge hearing these tales, didn’t believe in the curse. He brushed it off as a silly superstition, laughing at the panicked glances exchanged among the elders.

    The disappearances started anyway.

The first night, Tom heard whispers that old Mrs. Fletcher, who lived alone on the hill, hadn’t answered her door in the morning. Her house was empty, her bed cold. By the third night, the Smiths, a family of four, had gone missing as well. Tom’s bravado began to fade as each night took someone new, and he noticed the town growing quieter and emptier.

On the seventh night, his best friend Caleb disappeared. Tom felt a chill settle in his bones. There were no more people on the streets, and windows remained tightly shut, doors barred. The silence was thick, almost alive.

It was the eighth night, and the town had become a ghostly shell of itself. Tom locked himself in his home, sealing every door and window, hoping that the walls would keep him safe. But there was something else—a single candle placed in the center of his room, just like the old tales mentioned. Tom could never understand why the candle mattered so much, but now he found himself clinging to it, as though it could somehow keep him safe from whatever was lurking in the dark.

As midnight struck, his candle’s flame flickered. Tom watched it, feeling his heartbeat quicken with each shiver of the flame. The air grew cold, and a faint hum filled the silence, like a breathless chant. He closed his eyes, focusing on the dim light that kept him company. But then, the whispers grew louder, clearer, as if they were calling his name from within the walls, from every shadow.

    "Tom..."

The whisper was so close, like a hot breath against his ear. He froze, his hands gripping the candle, desperate to keep it from going out. But the flame was already fading, no matter how he shielded it.

And then, with a final whisper, the candle went out.

In the darkness, Tom felt an icy hand grip his wrist, pulling him towards something vast and hollow, a place where sound died and shadows swallowed the light. He wanted to scream, but his voice was lost in the thick, eerie silence. He felt himself sinking, deeper and deeper, as if falling through the earth itself. The last thing he heard was the whispers—calling his name again and again.

The next morning, the townspeople who were left found his home empty. A faint chill lingered in the air, and in the center of the room lay a single, half-burned candle. It flickered briefly when they stepped inside, as if mocking them, before going dark forever.

And the town knew: the curse was finished—for now. But someday, The End would echo through Eldridge again.
