I recently watched a Christian movie that was both deeply touching and full of insight. But one statement at the end of the movie, made by Pastor Laju Iren, has been ringing in my head ever since:

"It’s better to be late in my calendar and be timely in God’s calendar."

How powerful is that?

So often, we become impatient and feel like God isn’t answering our prayers. But one thing we must remember is this: Our calendar is not the same as God’s calendar.

Ethereum's recent major upgrade is called *Pectra*. This upgrade combines the Prague and Electra upgrades, focusing on improving scalability, usability, and staking efficiency ¹ ². Pectra introduces several key changes, including:

Yesterday, I flagged off the construction of two major road projects: the 10.9km Use Ikot Amama Road with two bridges in Ibiono Ibom and the 21.5km Ikot Anyan Ediene Road with a 60m span bridge in Ikono. Barely a week after a major explosion rocked the Trans Niger Pipeline in Bodo, Gokana LGA, another blast has occurred at the Soku oil facility in Akuku Toru LGA, Rivers State.

The Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre (YEAC-Nigeria) confirmed the incident on Sunday, citing reports from its network of youth volunteers in the Niger Delta.

In a statement signed by its Executive Director, Dr. Fyneface Dumnamene Fyneface, the group described the severity of the explosion: “An explosion accompanied by fireballs was seen in the sky near the facility, which is difficult to access.

The fire is still burning as of the time of this report.” The Soku oil facility, operated by Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited, has yet to determine the exact cause of the explosion, though possible reasons include equipment failure, sabotage, or a deliberate attack.

This marks the third oil facility explosion in Rivers State within a week. The first occurred in Ogoni, while the second took place in Oga/Egbema/Ndoni LGA.
