  • How I Teach My Daughters to Recognize a Real Man

1️⃣ Never Fund a Man’s Potential – A man’s growth is his responsibility, not yours. If he’s still “figuring it out,” he’s not ready for you. You are a partner, not a stepping stone.

2️⃣ Do Not Carry His Burdens – A man should come prepared to lead, not looking for a woman to fix, build, or struggle with him. If he cannot provide, protect, or guide, he is not a man—he is still becoming one.

3️⃣ Never Accept Less Than You Deserve –
You don’t shrink to fit a man’s life; he expands to meet your standards.
A strong man rises to the occasion—a weak one asks you to settle.

4️⃣ If He Invites You, He Provides – A man who values your time respects the responsibility that comes with it. If he asks you out, the bill is his. No discussion.

5️⃣ If He Wants Your Time, He Earns It – Your presence is a privilege, not a given. A real man shows consistency, effort, and intentionality. Anything less is a waste of time.

6️⃣ A Man Who Wants You Forever Will Never Rush You Into Bed – A man with true intentions will never pressure you. He will value your mind, your presence, and your standards. Lust moves fast—love moves with patience.

7️⃣ Never Stay in a Relationship with a Liar or a Cheater – Disrespect is not love. Betrayal is not a mistake—it’s a choice. A real man protects your heart, not plays with it. When a man shows you he can’t be trusted, believe him and walk away.

8️⃣ Never Entertain a Man You Wouldn’t Want Your Son to Be – If his character wouldn’t make you proud as a mother, he has no place in your life as a partner. The men you allow in your space set the standard for the next generation—choose wisely.

9️⃣ If He Doesn’t View You as His Wife and Provide for Your Needs, He’s Bringing Chaos and Confusion – A man who isn’t intentional about you is a distraction. If he’s not stepping up, he’s pulling you down. A real man brings clarity, stability, and security—not stress.

    My daughters will never settle.

    Neither should you.

If your fathers didn’t teach you, i am!

  • 10 Kinds Of Men You Should Never Bring To Your Father For Marriage:

If you're a smart and wise lady, there are various kinds of men you should never introduce to your family. The introduction can wait, if the man exhibits any or all of these traits!

    1. Don't introduce a stranger. Don't bring someone you don't know very well, simply because you're under pressure to marry.
    Never marry a stranger!

    2. Never introduce a man you don't know what he does for a living. If he is spending money but he's not working, report him to the Anambra State government .

    3. Never introduce a man that beats you.
You should end the relationship, and not try to take it to another level. What you tolerate while dating, will amplify in marriage.

    4. Don't introduce a man that attacks / violates your core values as a lady. A man who doesn't respect your boundaries shouldn't have the privilege of meeting your father.

    5. Don't introduce a man that sleeps with your friends. He may sleep with your own sister one day. Don't bring a serial womanizer home, no matter how romantic he is.

    6. Don't introduce a jobless and lazy man.
A lazy man is a man who has no plans, goals, vision and who is not motivated in life.

    7. Never introduce a man that his family and friends are forcing to marry you. If he's not excited about marrying you, don't introduce him to your father.

    8. Don't introduce a man that is only attracted to your physical qualities, for example, your shape.
His love for you is superficial, it may not stand the test of time.

    9. Never introduce a man who has no regard for your faith, tribe, and culture. Marriage is both spiritual and cultural.

    10. Never introduce a man that hates his father.
If he hates his father for no reason, you shouldn't bring him home to meet your father/family.

I trust you will make the right choice!

  • RHAPSODY OF REALITIES - DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TOPIC: "INTIMACY WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT"

THURSDAY 6TH FEBRUARY 2025. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
    -------------------------------------------------
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen (2 Corinthians 13:14).

The foundational principles of developing a personal and intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit is through the Word of God and prayer. It's important to yield to Him through the Word and deepen your relationship with Him through prayer. Every relationship without communication dies, irrespective of what that relationship is, whether it's the relationship between parents and their children, spouses, co-workers, etc.

On the other hand, good communication nourishes and enhances relationships. If you're going to have a richer fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you need to commune effectively with Him in prayer. He's a person, and you've got to relate to Him as a person. Read our opening scripture again; it indicates the kind of relationship we're supposed to have with the Lord.

The Father is in heaven, and Jesus has gone to heaven; only the Holy Spirit is here with us. The God we know and relate to today is the Holy Spirit. He makes the presence of the Father and the presence of Jesus real to you. So, learn to talk to Him. That's why speaking in tongues is also vital. Speak in tongues often.

The Apostle Paul serves as a great example of a successful Christian and minister, and one of his secrets was fellowship with the Holy Spirit through prayer. He said, "I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all" (1 Corinthians 14:18). If Paul realized it was necessary for him to speak in tongues so much that he could say he spoke with tongues more than the whole Corinthian church, then you must recognize its importance. Speak in tongues every day and every so often, and build a sturdy relationship with the Holy Spirit.

    PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit; I recognize His presence in my life and yield fully to His leading. As I fellowship with Him, my spirit is built strong, and I'm empowered to live victoriously, every day, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  • In secondary school, we say "Obey before complain". Once a student started explanation without complying, no one would listen to you. If police stops you by the road, you will stop wether you carry anything incriminating or not. I wish Madam Nat would have relocated to the New Seat and stand up to the Senate President from her lawfully re-allocated seat. It would have been better.

It's obvious the outburst is from previously accumulated grievances but, you have to fight people from the position of law. It appeared the SP has began the silent treatment of not recognising her which may be irritating. Notwithstanding, diplomacy will solve the issue. Senator Ireti, the senator representing FCT was also complaining of not been recognised few months ago when she was fighting Wike on TV and on Media. It's not new. A leader is a leader. They are all senator but, SP is the leader. Outright disrespect and fingers pointing may not end well.

In the beginning of the red chamber career, Madam Nat was SP favourite. I envied her relationship with him by then. She was named chairman, committee on local content. She was elected as a member of ECOWAS parliament. She was always accompanying SP and his Deputy on foreign trips. You can hardly see Madam pictures by then without SP. A lot must have happened that break their relationship and got aggravated by night club comments.

I will prefer a smooth relationship between her and SP than confrontation. A smooth relationship will help her and her Constituency than confrontation. She has bill to sponsor and she will need the cooperation of the leadership. Democracy is not an easy feat anywhere.

Some people says "That's Ebira blood". Well, as lovely as it may sound, I don't think it will benefit us. If I see Madam, I will tell her face to face to relax a bit. You can tame a lion to be your friend and it's not by fight. She should use her feminine attitude to get SP in her bag. A calm voice solve a thousand grievances before a raging voice will solve one

Courtesy DS Ømêizá for this wonderful write up & compliment of the season, me I decided to keep mute over this matter before some folks tag me I don't like her before but this is simple truth

In conclusion, marriage is a journey, not a destination. It requires love, commitment, sacrifice, and grace. Enter it with wisdom, and you will build a union that lasts a lifetime.
