Six things that you must not permit to control your destiny:

1. Being a single mother or having a child out of wedlock. This should not make you feel less of who you should be. None of these is a crime except in the books of conflicting inconsistent religious hypocrites. If it was not intended to be, accept that it’s a mistake and focus on making the best out of your life. Don’t d1e in guilt or the fear of hell. God loves you still.

2. Being an orphan should never make you feel incapacitated. Many people before you rose from the cold walls of orphanages and ashes of loneliness and lack to the very top. Being an orphan is not a curse, it's one of the challenges you overcome.

3. Divorce is not a symbol of failure nor should it be allowed to become a tool of frustration. Love yourself, live your life, and build a better you. Stop giving your misfortunes too much power over your life. Even the marriage of some top pastors and marriage counselors fails. Some things are just beyond your control.

4. Unmarried. That you are single at 40, 50, or 100 should not make you depressed or make you feel less worthy of being loved. Where was it written that it’s a sacrilege to live a fulfilled happy single life? Fall in love if you find one, if not, live a happy life regardless and thrive.

5. Barrenness is not a curse and it should not be a reason to feel less loved by God. It is not a good reason to endure an abusive marriage. It’s not a good reason to be ashamed. Adopt children and love them like your own. Make your life easy and simple for you.

6. Failure in business and career. This is one thing that must happen to you at one point in your life. You will fail at one point, you will make mistakes, and you will encounter losses, this is not a curse, it’s part of the journey of everyone who desires to attain greatness. But when the time comes, don’t let it take a piece of you with it.
