I think with the way Nico transfer saga is moving and with the latest performance of Fermin Lopez mixed with the new signing of Dani Olmo, we need to improvise as a team.
If Nico decides not to come, Dani Olmo is a very flexible player who can play in the flank, and we use Fermin in his position since he is so direct to score goals…. A very important stuff we need right now.
With that we can use Dani Olmo as a false wing just like The way Xavi used Gavi, which will give this guy more space to flex his shooting prowess.
With that we can utilize both players without any problem or lapses
This is just my own view of the current situation innit.
