Shattered Reality

I brought my hand down, shattering the mirror once more. But this time, something was different.

The shadow's face contorted in rage, and then...it began to spread. The darkness seeped out of the mirror, creeping across the walls like a stain.

I stumbled backward, tripping over my own feet. As I fell, the world around me began to distort and writhe.

The shadow's voice whispered in my ear, "You should not have looked."

Everything went black.
