An example of the misinformation and incitement currently being shared on social media amongst the far right. The post, made on 2nd August, has more than 70,000 impressions and has been reposted more than 450 times.

The truth in the tragic case of Emily Jones is:
Emily was not murdered by a Somali migrant
Emily was not decapitated
The media did not cover up her murder, it was even covered on the BBC

This tragedy does raise valid questions about the British asylum system and Emily's murder could have been prevented, but to hijack it to incite right wing violence is beneath contempt.
