Many videographers talk to me about what camera body they should buy...the most important part of a camera is the lense.
You can have the best camera with all the specs high but if you attach a cheap crap lense on it, your video quality will be poor. Your camera won't magically turn the image around.
When am shopping for a camera, i only look for specs i want especially resolution, framerate, bit-depth and dynamic range.
The camera brand doesn't matter, i spend a lot of time looking for good lenses.
A lense that can control things like chromatic aberration, flaring, character, sharpness etc
All the DSLR cameras I used were cheaper than the lenses I used on them or atleast same price or atleast half of the camera price!
Make sure you pay more attention to the lenses more than the camera.
