The Egyptian remains out of contract at Anfield but the Reds have managed to agree fresh terms with their main man. That would finally see rumours about his future and a move to Saudi Arabia brought to an end.

There now just remains the small task of keeping Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk - the Dutchman having also been offered fresh terms by Liverpool.
