Viktor Gyökeres believes two current Manchester United forwards could stand in the way of his potential move to join Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.

The Swedish striker, who has thrived under Amorim at Sporting CP, has become one of the most sought-after players in world football. Since Amorim's appointment as United manager, rumors of a reunion have gained momentum, especially after Gyökeres’ standout performances, including a stunning display in Sporting’s 4-1 victory over Manchester City in the Champions League.

However, Gyökeres hinted that Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Højlund might block his path to a United move. Speaking to Fotbollskanalen, he said, "They already have several forwards there, so we'll see." He added, "I’m happy at Sporting and want to finish the season strong. I’m not in a hurry. We’ll see what happens in the future."

Both Zirkzee and Højlund have struggled to fully impress since joining United. Højlund’s debut season yielded 16 goals and two assists across 43 appearances but has left room for improvement.
