Nearly 300 Boeing 777 airplanes have been found to have a fatal defect that could lead to an airborne explosion, the Daily Mail reports, citing the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration

Faulty electrical equipment causes fuel tanks on the wings to catch fire. The demand to correct the defect was sent to the company back in March.
