At least two residents of the Briun community in Bou-Ko kingdom in the Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State have been reportedly shot dead by gunmen. It was learnt that they were killed during a night invasion by the gunmen on Tuesday night at about 8pm. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Ken Saro-Wiwa Surveillance Group, Bright Nwiyorde, who is also a resident of the area confirmed the incident on Thursday.
