A review of public payments by the Nigerian government has shown that the Bola Tinubu-led Presidency spent the sum of N14 billion on renovation of Presidential quarters, Presidential honorarium, trips and purchase of foreign exchange between May and July, 2024. The review shows that on 19th of July, the Presidency spent N150 million to pay for Presidential trips and other related expenses. On July 17 alone, N1.6 billion was recorded paid for purchase of foreign exchange.
