Pangolin Protection Initiatives: The Pangolin Conservation Working Group Nigeria (PCWGN) has been actively rescuing pangolins from illegal wildlife trade markets. Since its inception in 2016, the group has saved around 100 pangolins. Despite international trade bans, Nigeria remains a significant hub for pangolin trafficking. PCWGN collaborates with various stakeholders to rescue, rehabilitate, and raise awareness about the plight of these endangered mammals.

United Airlines Flight Incident: United Airlines Flight 613, en route from Lagos to Washington D.C., experienced a sudden and unexplained movement approximately 93 minutes after takeoff, leading to an emergency return to Lagos. The incident resulted in injuries to passengers and crew members. The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the unexpected movement.
