I've noticed an increasing number of people complain about prologues in fantasy books. I personally not only don't mind them I actually expect my fantasy books to have one (along with a map). They're often a great way of plunging you right into the world and revealing the grander stakes at play. How do you feel about them? Love or hate and why? Also which one is your favorite and why?
