I tried my best

I tried my level best,
To keep the bond alive,
I tried my level best,
To keep my emotions at bay and strive,
But, I still remember you in time,
I will always regret this one,
Coz for me this relationship was number one!

We were so happy

So happy we were in our space,
But, now it is the thing of disgrace,
A beautiful friendship ruined with time,
Remember the time when I called you mine,
Why did this breach of trust end?
I too don't have words to defend,
But it is all over now,
It is all over with time!

I tried my best

I tried, but you did not revert back,
All the allegations and flack,
What went wrong, what was the reason,
Dark looks every season,
Without a good friend like I had,
Feeling depressed and sad,
Coz she is no longer a part of my life,
She is no longer with me!

The times we had

Joyful times that we have had,
All the sweet memories so true,
What went wrong in one moment?
That everything became so blue,
The discord doesn't seem to end,
The pain doesn't descend,
It's just a bare space in heart,
That left us apart,
My friend who was!

Those painful words

Those painful words and moment of despair,
That one thing which can't be repaired,
You were a special part of my life,
It is really tough to survive,
Without you my friend,
Why this had to end,
The emotions that never mend,
Still remember you in my life,
The friendship we had!

Some things are deep

Some sorrows are too deep,
Some wounds don't seep,
The friendship I had with you,
Was the best relation I had,
Then why did it all go wrong,
Why we were not so strong,
To turn the tide,
Why did we part?
When you are still in my heart,
Miss you my friend!

If you boil rice, beans, and potato in the same pot, each will be cooked at different times. Never at the same time. So, don't get jealous when you see your mates succeeding before you. Your time will come. Just keep on cooking! The potato may get cooked before the rice, but the rice is more delicious. Rice cooks before beans, but beans are more nutritious. That others succeed before you does not mean they will succeed better than you. Face your race and leave them to their place. Because “the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong”-Ecclesiastes 9:11
