  • The ancient Egyptians made fire using simple tools and natural materials. They often used a fire drill, which consisted of a wooden stick rotated rapidly against a piece of wood to create friction.

This friction generated enough heat to ignite dry grass, leaves, or other easily flammable materials. Once the spark caught, they carefully nurtured the flame with gentle blowing and added small twigs to build a stronger fire.
