  • Sometimes, it’s not major things that got us way off course. It’s just small things that are taking our time and energy. Jealous of a coworker, competing with them to prove your worth and prove your talent. If you live with that proving mentality, it’s like you’re on a treadmill that’s never going to stop. Because there will always be someone more talented, more attractive, more successful. That’s a distraction. You’re not running their race. You’ll never reach your potential if you’re competing with others, basing your worth and value on how you measure up to them. One translation of Proverbs 4 says, “Don’t look to the left or the right but stay focused on the goal.”

  • 𝔻𝕆ℕ'𝕋 𝕄𝔸ℕ𝔸𝔾𝔼 𝕀𝕋!

Marrying the wrong partner is like buying undersized shoes just because they are beautiful. The shoes might look appealing, but forcing your feet into them will do more harm than good. People may admire the shoes on your feet, and you may smile back at them, but deep down, you're in pain.

You can't manage undersized shoes. You can't return them to the seller because you've already worn them. If you continue to wear them, they will hurt your feet, leaving you with blisters and sores.

In the same way, don't enter a marriage that will harm you. Marriage should be enjoyed, not endured. It should help you grow and become better.

    - Don't marry the wrong spouse out of pity.
    - Don't marry the wrong spouse because they got you pregnant before marriage.
    - Don't marry the wrong spouse because they are wealthy.
    - Don't marry the wrong spouse just because someone you respect recommended them.
    - Don't marry the wrong spouse due to societal or parental pressure.
    - Don't marry the wrong spouse to "pepper" someone else; in the end, you’ll be the one feeling the sting.
    - Don't marry the wrong spouse because you feel you’re getting old.
    - Don't marry the wrong spouse because you think they're doing you a favor by loving you.

It’s better to wait on God for the right spouse than to jump into a relationship with the first available person. Rushing into marriage might lead to rushing out of it just as quickly.

It makes no sense to get married and then wish you were single again after only a few months or years.

Love is not blind and if you think it is, marriage will open your eyes. Don’t love blindly. Love with your eyes wide open and your brain engaged. Above all, let God guide you. He is the perfect matchmaker. Trust Him to lead you to one of His sons or daughters.

So, my friend, when it’s time to settle down, marry someone who fits you, neither undersized nor oversized.

    Proverbs 3:5-6
    5. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
    6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I trust you'll make the right choices in life, I pray that God helps you in Jesus' name. Amen.

  • (Proverbs 22:29 KJV)

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

This scripture makes so much sense to me now.

As long as you are obedient to God, His word will never fail in your life.

    Happy new week Everyone.
