As I approached the end of my national service in January 2014 in Abia State
"What Next" was the question on my mind
There were 2 options before me:
Travel abroad for Masters or get a job
While I was still doing my BSc in Mechanical Engineering at Unilag
I had heard stories of students finishing their program and going for Masters in the US, UK, Canada on full scholarships
But most of them were First Class students
So as a Second Class student, travelling abroad on a full scholarship was not on my radar
Na my type dem dey give scholarship?
So, the idea of travelling abroad was almost immediately shut down in my mind
The only other option left before me was to borrow myself brain and get a job jejely and be managing it like that
But even that one was a struggle
And the pressure of making something of yourself as a new Corper that just finished national service is not easy
Family is looking at you with one eye
With another eye, society is expecting you to have your bearing sorted out
But 3 years after finishing my Bachelor's studies....
This story changed from that of a struggling Second Class graduate Corper....
...To one of a recipient of a full Masters scholarship in Sweden
...and 2 years later, I became a permanent resident of Canada
All this started because I got a scholarship
And I want you to know that this is possible for you too
You can secure a scholarship for your Master's studies abroad
And few years later.... become a permanent resident
This is possible for you too
Whether in Sweden, Canada, UK, Australia, Germany etc.
Even if you have a low grade
Even if you have no experience of applying for scholarships abroad
Or you've applied several times before without success
Or you finished your Bachelors studies a long time ago
It is possible for you too
It sounds impossible because you don't have the required information
You've applied many times before but none has been successful....
Joined lots of admission and scholarship coaching programs
Watched multiple Youtube videos
Same result
In fact you're in so many study abroad WhatsApp and Telegram groups that you're already confused and overwhelmed
Your search ends here today
